High profile D-1 kid going to the NA? Must be a goalie.
I am not aware of a current MN high school goalie that is committed to a D1 program. Please refresh my memory.

USHL and NAHL Protected Lists

I enjoy watching how our MN high school players continue on and further their careers in top Junior Hockey and hopefully D1. Both the USHL and the NAHL deadlines for teams to submit their protected lists have come and gone yet I can't find the results anywhere. Does anyone know why or can share with...

I/he said "in the respective school district" not "on campus." Again... This communication took place Mid pandemic. Out of curiosity, why does anyone care (especially in today's world environment)? Seems like the haters of a certain SW Metro team/coach might be inclined to raise the BS flag for a r...

Re: AA Goalies, over 91% Saves Thru Feb 13 Midseason

I have been to games where SOG pile up: if the shooter sneezes in the direction of the net I've seen it called a shot when it hits the iron (only) so many times they call anything the goalie catches (standing over their head, or 2 feet wide of the net) as long as it hit the goalie it gets called a s...

As I mentioned in a previous post...
An athletic director from a major Program Told me directly this summer That student-athletes In order to maintain their eligibility must be physically present in their respective School District once every 15 days.

Re: The 2021 Goalie Thread

Great work. I am also a goalie stat nerd. GA needs to be replaced with GAA to be meaningful. Just like saves doesn't paint the picture the same way Save % does. There is way too big of a minutes played spread to use Goals Allowed as a stat. Timmons has 1393 minutes played compared to Syverson at 246...

So now the many get to continue to pay and sacrifice for the few... Just tack on another 1,2,3 TRILLION in debt to tide us all over while we tell each other to "be safe out there." Such an easy answer for so many... Let's add national debt to the mounting pile of negatives with shutdowns for the few...

Re: "Before and After"

That is my point. Many posts and the guys on the podcast think these players are just going to decide at the last minute what they are going to do. This is an arduous requirement and can't be considered haphazardly. For these kids who are off in Omaha or Lincoln or Chicago, Etc... it will not be eas...

"Before and After"

So many previous and current posts keep mentioning "before and after" as an option for our star players this year (and previous years). Even the fellas over on the YHH podcast seem to throw this option around quite lightly. Seems to me that many posters to this forum and the YHH guys are under the i...

Re: 2020 Elite League rosters

I hope they find a way to allow scouts in. The league touts their record of drawing scouts to watch and the players want to be seen. Black Bauer/CCM coats and notepads are what the players want to see in the building (and some puck bunnies too but that only happens in the school season).

Re: Minnesota Hockey Taking Over?

MSHSL needs to hurry. USHL and NAHL teams have players reporting to camp in the first two weeks of September. Selfish to drag this out then shut it down on kids who could have played elsewhere.
