Martin to Play in World Cup for Leopold
Just read that Leopold will not be playing in the world cup this year because of a concussion and that Martin has been named as his replacement. Great opportunity for Martin to make a huge step up in his career. Best of luck to him should be fun to watch here.

I agree that he likes Duluth but it is hard to pass up one of the probably three top jobs in the country where he would get more money and have many other perks that ND has. With it being his alma matter and with such nice facilities and easier recruiting I just cant see him passing up the offer. <p...

whether or not you care about his tennis it will be a big deal with the junior camps coming up for him. Not that he will have a problem but I hope he doesnt get behind coming into juniors next year. Hope it isnt too severe.

They might win but Legace wont be the god. Joseph is coming back early to start next game after finishing the last one for legace. Playoffs have been great so far and I think they will only get better as we go. Fun time of year for hockey fans.

I would have to agree with Hockeyscout on ammerman. he just has looked a little out of place lately and I agree he is overrated. The rest of those defenseman are exceptional players that are a few steps above him. RJ is very creative but I think what makes Lee look so good is he is always in great p...

Hartzell
I think he said that about the Elite League but I could be wrong. I agree with you that people should stop complaining about this cause I think the team looks pretty good. Hartzell is going down with the team I beleive so he very well could have said that. Either way good luck boys.

Gifford
I played with Gifford last year and he passes very well. He scored a few goals for our team but was mostly effective because of his passing so I do not think he deserves that criticism. Those of you who dont agree with some of the picks have to remember it is only a three day tournament and some pla...

Class A
I disagree, I think that there is enough depth but the sections are just aligned wrong. You will never have a good state tournament if all the talented teams are in three or four sections especially with five. If you realigned them better we would see a good class A field too.

I have seen a lot and I know this is a high school board but I just wanted to mention the Denver Mankato game a couple weeks ago. Denver was winning 7-1 in the third and lost 8-7. It was unreal.

Private Schools
I agree, I mean even some teams who have won class A titles would not be able to play AA like totino a couple years ago. I think that there are a couple teams that could go like Breck Blake and Benilde but having all private schools go AA just because some teams have a lot of players would be pointl...

Different Levels
obviously players at different levels stats have to be put into perspective but these players can still be compared. By watching players like Kramer you can see that they are very good and can then compare them to players at different levels. Look at Crosby, obviously juniors is nowhere near the big...

Eveleth
Number one would have to be Eveleth. Go to the town and you will see it is all hockey. You can't beat their past and the numbers of players who moved on from such a small town back in the day. Another thing to remember is that a lot of the other programs you listed were started by Eveleth people who...

Points
I think that points can deceive somewhat but not completely due to schedules. A lot of these players mentioned play some easier games but also lack the talent to help them on their teams. I think the best way to judge talent is to go and watch them especially when they are playing in the tough games...

I think you have good points but also have to remember that the league has been somewhat on a trial basis which makes it hard to add teams into weekends. I agree that a south team should be added even if it is only for a few weekends at first. I know you are still mad that those seniors missed out a...

Elite
I thought that the other league had some good players but was definetly weaker and did not do as much for development. I think that a good player with a good work ethic that is motivated will improve to matter where they are like you said Lundin did with his scholarship. I mean if Crosby decided to ...

Elite League
I read on another post the league might go through the winter next year? If they did a little deal after the season I think it would be a very good improvement. I think that it will take a few years to get the league to the point we all want it to be at for the developement of the players. I still d...

Elite
As far a So Minn. is concered, having watched some of the section 1 A/AA games, I really don't think your strength is depth. All I have seen is a couple players here and there that are good. As far as the elite league not developing players I would have to say you are definetly wrong. The players in...

High school
I think that High School hockey is the best experience in a persons life. Juniors College and even the Pros becomes too much of a buisiness and well it is great it is missing what high school is all about. As far as one set of rules as said above, I think the high school rules for off sides and two ...

Rivalry
I would have to say the public private rivalrys are great. The inner city rice street cup is always a huge sellout for two teams that do not usually pack the house by any means. I would have to say Roseau and Warroad is one of the best long term rivalries.

I dont think there were many players on Green Bay last year that tore up the plus minus. He does need work on some things as all players I know do but to say he is only big is wrong. He also has very good speed and skating as well as shooting and stickhandling. He is going to continue to become bett...

You have to be out of your mind to think that beaversons being in the league was political. He was one of the top players in the league as the college and nhl scouts will verify. Hartzell liking his play and inviting him to the tryouts is the scouting they were talking about. He only invited him to ...

More teams
I am sure there are other players that would want to be in the league but I think it would water down the talent and the "elite" part. It is the same reason that the USHL does not want to expand too much because it would eventually lower the prestige of the league. Another reason not to ex...

Football
Yes the players can play football and play in the league. That was one thing they made sure to include when they put the league together to keep the whole high school experience while still playing good hockey. I know Gunderson on NE is really big into football and just tells the coach the games he ...
