I think Roseville will be the 4th best team in this section. Hill/WB/Cent will continue to be the 3 best teams. This doesn't mean Roseville won't be able to win the section, just that history shows this section belongs to the other three.

Re: Arrigoni

His line is getting a little frustrated with their lack of productivity lately. They could learn from their top line that you can move the luck better & create more opportunities using everyone rather than attempt to create hanging on to the puck too long individually. Their development will be ...

Re: Tough week ahead for WBL 4 games in 7 days!

If WB doesn't win 3 out of 4, then they don't deserve to be mentioned among the elite teams this year. Moorhead is solid, but not great. F.L. and Park are below average teams and Cretin is decent. I expect a close game with the Spuds... 3-5 goal wins over F.L. & Park and a 2-3 goal win over Cret...

Re: hill murray varsity

My congrats to Hill's Varsity & JV with the season they are both having. Both teams are undefeated and the program appears to be real solid. Good job boys and continued success.

Re: Private Elementary School

Not real sure what you are referring to when you say "luxury"? Open enrollment allows any child to attend any high school of their choosing. This is not a private school issue. Hill Murray isually ends up with the kids who attended parochial elementary schools in the geographical proximini...

Re: 5 Stillwater/Lake Elmo kids

Not that it would mean anything in particular, but I would be curious as to how many kids at a private high school arrive there via a private elementary school. I know back in the day, Hill was made up of mostly kids from the various parochial elementary schools in & around the eastside of St. P...

Nick deserved the opportunity to play varsity based on his ability and who else was gonna be the next defenseman to make the team. He & Danna were the only real considerations to make the team...pretty easy decisions to make. Nick is practicing against some of thew best forwards around everyday ...

Re: PEPPER SKYTTE INJURED?

The only reason anyone would shadow Pepper is if he he owed someone money. Pepper is a good kid but no where near STA's best player. I didn't see the game or the hit he took, but I'm not surprised he got injured. One of the reason he wasn't thought of too highly at Hill was because he often acted li...

Catholic School Sweep?

Will the Catholic Schools sweep the 3 levels of the Schwan Cup today? Obviously either STA or CDH will win the bronze division. Will HM win the silver & AHA win the gold? I'm sure the anti-parochial people will love this if it happens.

Nick Pryor was set up to disappoint this year. He is a very good hockey player...for his age. Re: Hill outduels BSM 7-2

Kind of an off night for the Pioneers last night. They pretty much just went thru the motions the 1st 2 periods and picked up the pace a little more in the 3rd. I was impressed with Benilde and their core of young talent. The good sign for Hill is that even on an off night, they can still do enough ...

Re: hockeyman1024

I thought it was an entertaining neighborhood/conference clash. Tartan played their typical blue collar hard working style and Hill used their speed and puck control. Hill has more talent but the Titans were gritty and kept the game close. I don't think the officiating played a factor in the outcome...
