Goaltending

Obviously Stutz was amazing, but you have to also give some credit to Moorheads Hittle, he was peppered in the championship against Centennial and he made some huge saves keeping it to a 1 goal game. Also So St. Pauls goalie, who I only saw on TV looked very solid to me, very aggressive style, and e...

Standouts

Blueliner
Don't know what game you were watching while I was watching AHA vs. Centennial but Hillen didn't stand out AT ALL, sure he was a solid player but a stand out NO. The only real standout I saw during that game was Centennials goalie Stutz(spelling?). Stutz didn't allow a goal in 3 games,...

there wasn't one..

They both lost their first 2 games. They don't play a game for 7th place at state. So this game never happened.

Most Consecutive Wins

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me the state record for most consecutive wins by a Boys High School Hockey team in MN. I noticed that IFalls won the title in 64,65 and 66 and in 65 and 66 were 23-0 so I would assume they won a few more in a row to win state in 64. Can anyone tell me if thi...

Jefferson

I remember watching Jefferson a few years ago at state... maybe it was like 6-7 years ago, and I was very impressed with one of their forwards, #21 or something, maybe #19, not exactly sure, if anyone knows who I'm talking about, I'm just wondering if he went on to play hockey anywhere?

Dandill

There is no rule against punching somebody when they aren't looking, true, but there is a rule against punching.... thats why you see guys go to the box for fighting when they throw punches........
Also If I was any player in the NHL not even an Av's player I would fight Bertuzzi, cleanly every t...

Watching the Women or the Hockey

wdc fan--
Tough call here too, I'd have to say watching hockey, and then every whistle, and intermission, women. Just a though though, if watching women and hockey is so great, why isn't watching WOMEN's HOCKEY that great?? Gonna get a lot of heat for this one, but lets face it.....
..........

Mr. Hockey

After watching Alex Goligoski from GR play only twice i can definitely see why he is a finalist, and this is my personal(and very biased) opinion, but he is the main reason his team has a chance to go to state. Don't get me wrong, GR does have a lot of good players, and would still be a tough team w...

Roseau Rams

How about the Roseau Rams with The Brotens and Bryan "Butsy" Ericson. From what I hear they had some of the best teams of all time from 75-79 and never one a state championship.
