great peewee a hockey teams

You need to try shock treatment, I think if you asked almost anyone who played 30 YEARS ago you'll find that they think todays players are bigger, faster, shoot harder and are overall more skilled now than then. Different eras shouldn't be compared. The accomplishments of many teams over the years a...

lakeville south

Lakeville south did indeed limp into the state touney, they played their best hockey in early February at the WBL tourney. In Duluth a good portion of the team was sick and they clearly didn't play up to their potential. Over all this team had a great year going 41-8-5. As for deserving to be there,...

Re: Hanowski

Marshalls first line is pretty good, not sure he'd crack that one...for arguements sake lets say Schroeder and Fink are equals...In yesterdays game Schroeder had 0 points, to just assume Fink would dominate is a leap I can't make. Yes a good portion of Edinas or Centennials bantam teams could play o...

Re: Hanowski

I'm sorry but Bantam A teams taking a run at the class A tourney? Absurd!! Lets look at it this way, if there are 17 kids on a bantam team consisting of two grade levels..(8th & 9th)...high school teams consist of three grade levels..following this thought to its conclusion will tell you almost ...

Re: Jordan

How can anyone make this comparison, clearly both are great players but one is competing at a level far superior to the other. Time will tell the story in the end, but for now Schroeder is playing against 18 year olds, Fink 14 and 15 year olds, It does both players a disservice.

Re: .

never say never, but it is a very, very rare case when any kid should skip bantam hockey. It happens but is certainly not recommended.

Re: Pee Wee A - State Tournament @ Mars Lakeview

you're right, lets stay positive.

There are some great match ups. Likely to see Edina and EP square off for the 4th time this year and while I believe EP is a little better, I wouldn't want to try and beat Edina 4 times in a row. Wayzata seems the clear favorite on the other side of the brack...

Re: State Tourney

I know that its frustrating to many people to watch the same teams have great success year after year, but are the kids on these teams any more or less deserving of playing in a state tournament then players from lesser programs? You could make an arguement that they've had to work harder just to be...

Re: State Tourney

I couldn't agree more Hockeydad, multiple classes with multiple champions only serves to dillute the accomplishment of any team big or small...just trying to show my admiration for a team that has over achieved all year. Its an honor just to play in the big show for any kid. Like you said thats the ...

Re: State Tourney

Lakeville south is one third the size of the big 3(ep, edina, wayzata) smaller, younger, and should probably just stay home. Oh, by the way, their record against those 3 teams is 3-4. Thats why they play the games...
