Re: assists
whatever happened to assists? it seems like no one cares who gets credits for an assist. without an assist there is no goal No doubt that an assist is as good as a goal. The good players usually see the ice pretty well and will take a shot if given the opportunity or pass to their teammate when the...

Re: Goal Scorers
Wings - Were you cut from a bantam a team? You seen rather bitter. What's the difference between debating who will score the most goals and who the best team is? Not all team records are posted for everyone to see... Blueblood No, can't say that I was cut from a Bantam A Team. Not bitter just reali...

Question? Why would a good player in 9th grade choose to play at the JV level vs. Bantam A. I understand if he would be playing on the Varsity team but playing on JV is, to me, hard to understand? Bantams: # of games and scrimmages (50-55), quality competition, state tournament opportunity, go to pl...

As I said, a worthless topic. You base your opinion on fact or just pure speculation that these players will score the most goals this season. Granted they are all good players but who keeps the stats and where to you find them? Please inform me who has scored the most goals up to this point? No clu...

Question: Why does it matter? Hockey is a team sport and the wins vs. losses have a signifiacant bearing on the teams success. One other comment is that statistics, to my knowledge, are not even tracked. The Bantam team that wins the final game of the season is what should count. This is a meaningle...

I'll be honest here for all to read, including Bernie, if he visits these sites. I like Bernie and his development programs but families with 92' players asked me if, in my opinion , this opportunity would be good exposure for their kids as well as a good hockey experience. Money and costs aside I w...

I don't believe anyone that knows Bernie doesn't see his passion for the game and helping kids improve. With his kid playing in Ann Arbor with NTDP he was very familiar with the people in Michigan and felt it would be a good venue to showcase some good 92's. MN does not sanction a 14 Select Program ...

Pucknutz69 ? Bottom line, Bernie runs a business and a very good one. How many players has he had in his clinics, my guess - 1000's. How many has he develped that make it to the big dance? Time will tell but he does help kids develop that want to work hard and reap the benefits, possibly an opportun...

Not much of a money maker, the trip is only $285 for about 9 hours of ice time, so about $30/hr, not sure Bernie is making much of this at all. Hockey training is his business. Bernie is a businessman that has helped numerous kids develop into pretty decent hockey players. Would I recommend a 14 ye...

I have witnessed her coach numerous times and I would say she has a lot of passion and brains for the game of hockey. However, i would have to agree that if some of the off ice stuff that is floating around(if true) is in fact a career killer and a AAA club like the tbreds is probably the only plac...

Agreed! Johnson is an excellent choice, had very good success coaching the Badgers and, in my opinion, will do a great job with the Women's National Team. Like the NHL I think youth will begin to trickle into the Women's program. There are some very talented girl's that should be given the opportuni...

2006 Coaching Vacancies
The rumor mill has it that a coach has been hired at BSM. Look for an annoucement in the near future.
