Re: EP vs. BV

Didn't B'ville beat AV and MTKA this year? Also, I went to their game against Edina, and I believe they have six to seven sophomores and one freshman playing a regular shift. Be careful with theses guys in a month or so.

Thanks for clearing that up. What year was that Dallas Miller/ Tousinant team? I think I remember Dallas Miller taking a penalty shot in the tourney? Who did they lose to that year? Was it Edina by chance?

Re: cooperalls

I believe Bloomington Kennedy won the state tournament in the mid 80's with long yellow cooperalls. If I remember correctly it was the great team with Dallas Miller and Dan Toussinault (sp?)

98,
The three game unbeaten streak in the lake was not under Eigner, it was under Hokstra. Eastview, Eagan and a tie against Kennedy. That team was led by Ehmer and Anderson. I don't know anything about Ehmer, but it sounds like he was a solid player and a solid individual. My hopes and prayers a...

Re: Penalties

I have checked the facts. Rosemount did not play Burnsville in a non-conference game at any point. They beat Burnsville at home the year the current group of seniors were freshman. They also tied the Chaska Hawks the same year. This is simply fact. And as a matter of fact, they beat Burnsville the y...

Kodiak,
How do you just throw out facts that are completely wrong? A friend of mine had kids playing for the guy before Micheletti. Re: PRO

My point is simple. Tom Preissing can not be used as an example of the talent that diskman has claimed exists in rosemount over the years. He may or may not have even played his high school hockey there (I truly don't know). What I am trying to say is that there has been very little talent coming ou...

Re: PRO

did he graduate fron rosemount? did his team advance to the state tournament? did they advance to the section finals his senior year? did they even make it out of the quarterfinals? Tom Preissing is a great player, but he is the exception - definitely not the norm coming from this community. By the ...

Re: Eastern Trip

I have played and lived on the east coast. The teams you speak of - Catholic Memorial and Mt. Saint Charles are good high school teams - NOTHING MORE. They get so much publicity because they do not play anyone decent on the east coast. The true competition on the east coast lies within the prep scho...
