Re: Personally
It was only ahas 5th game. Most teams have 7-10 games under their belt. AHA has not had a tough game to date. The first line and second line guys have not played but a shift or two in the four games this year.

They will get their 3rd quarter legs some enough. They will only get better. Smith ...

Re: Rein & Company
You play who you play, I can remember not to long ago Moorhead and Centennial routinely scoring 20 plus goals on their opponents. I don't like or agree with that kind of play but it is what it is, right!

I am not a big Shako fan but give the team and the kids their due. You can always say I t...

Re: 4 hat tricks in 5 games
Great start is right, 20 points 4 hat tricks in 5 games that is fantastic. Give the kid his do, if he keeps it up who knows. It's only natural to say ok lets see how he, they, do against stronger teams. They play Red Wing and Farmington twice, do they have any other tough games ?

Most teams b...

Re: Holy Angels vs Chaska
Dude keep the faith 5-3 AHA ? Did you see the game? It could have been 10-12. Running time 3rd period, no 1st or 2nd line most of the 3rd. 1st power play unit off after 6 goal lead, middle of 2nd. Your boys are good, and will only get better as the season rolls on. They are playing a lot of young ki...

Re: AV?
AV should be pretty good, not great. No real offense returning, real solid D and a good goalie in Beggs, the Rosemount goalie. Now that the recruiting period is over I don't see them adding any players that can help. It really doesn't matter because they will never get by AHA in the sections. Good lu...

Re: Reprimand
Come on please, this real life for these young men! They were drinking, ok, lets deal with that, they didn't kill someone or rape someone, they didn't steal or destroy anyone’s property, they had a drink[s] in a bar with their friends and they shouldn't have. Let the punishment fit the misdeed.
<...

Re: Hamline University
Give Bell a year or two and if he wants to stay at Hamline they will be a powerhouse, year in and year out. I am afraid Bell won't stay long in the MIAC. He is an excelent hockey guy on any level.

Re: Reprimand
Wow parker; are you serious or just a little nuts? Release these guys from their scholarships? Whatever happened to an 18 year old kid simply using bad judgment or better yet making a MISTAKE. Yup Parker lets just kick these kids off the team and ruin everything they have worked for their whole life...

Come on Slapshooter,

Who in class AA would have a chance to beat Warroad? You have got to kidding, didn't Edina already beat them? How about Centennial, EP, AHA, Moorhead and there are more then a few other team that could beat Breck anytime.

My point is and again you missed it, these...

Re: AGAINST the GRAIN
A good hockey player is a good hockey player, a good team is a good team. Unfortunately for the A teams and players your only as good as the competition you play against. In most cases it's true.

Could Warroad compete against the AA powers, sure this year they could, do they have some great p...

Hey all you Eastview and Apple Valley fans! I always thought this game was huge. Wasn't it a sell out last year at Apple Valley? It seems both of these teams bring their best play when they meet.

Re: What about Tony Selvog?
OK enough already ,Tony is a good player, he probably could have scored a bunch more goals if he played in all the blow out 3 periods but so could have all the top scores if they played in all the lop sided third periods. What's the point?
