Are there always 2 assists awarded on AHA goasls?

According to the fish wrap factory on the west sides box scores every AHA goal against NP recieved 2 assists. NP did not on their 2 flukes. Heck Ottawa scored 7 tues night and most of their goals were unassisted or 1 assist. AHA must have better play makers.

Lee bill me for this post. I was n...

How many will leave if they win?

Last time AHA won at state they lost several players early Hagemo comes to mind. I could see this happening again. It is the price you pay as a hockey magnet school. The kids are looking to get to the next level. Heck, that's why they go there in the 1st place.

He is very fast and so is #3.

Matson and #3 his wing both have great speed. Against Warroad they both went around Hardwick and Harsbargen. It was Matson who caused Hardwick yo slash, hook him in the overtime. Against Breck both these guys gave the Breck defense fits. They had one of the goals and numerous chances. Matson future i...

Warroad and Section 8 are a class act.

I admit to being an Orono fan and let me tell you the kids on the team were honored to play Warroad and they had a great time. That they won was a bonus. It was a clean ,fast, hard game 8 times out of 10 Warroad would prevail. Go Warriors and see you guys next Dec. Yep, We're coming up to play you an...

Do the Warroad player have to live there?

During the off season do the players go place else to escape the adulation and hysteria they create because of their charisma and success. I mean do they go to LA or South Beach to hang with Britney or Anna? I hear from a very reliable source that it is like a fishbowlfor these poor guys.

...

Say it ain't so Cary?

Is one of the Warriors asst coaches really named Oshie?
How did that happen? Distant relative or just inbreeding? If this means recruiting(gasp!) I am so naive I believed all the Henry Bouche Legend. I might change my allegiance to Breck at least tjey are up front about it. This has really ruined...

Lest we forget.

Let's reflect on the state class A semi-final game these 2 teams played in 2003. Warroad won 5-2. They scored 2 goals in the 1st 47 seconds when Orono's coaching staff being sentimental put an all senior lineup out which featured several defenseman who had not previously played in the tournament. I ...

Orono

Ram81 the 2002 state Orono team was the football on ice version. 2003 was the badly led team. This years version can actually play the game. They will give Warroad a game if a big if their goalie plays well.

cliff77 this is fun!

Most not all Private Youth Hockey Asscociations play in public funded arenas. No arena no hockey cliff. It is true that a fee is charged to the participant but it is subsidized to varing degrees by public funds. So the term private for youth hockey is somewhat misleading. Anyway I am not for a separ...

A little over the top cliff77?

Communist Cliff? Maybe we need a House UnAmerican activities committee hearing to investigate. Cliff this is boys hockey not the menacing red horde. Besides most of the best private school players started out in the public schools. Wouldn't you be afraid of possible double agents or moles infiltrati...

Why are 3 players from one team chosen?

Politics that's why. I have heard that as many as 7 Blake players will play division 1. It will be interesting to follow there college careers. Also remember hockey is division1 in the Ivy League but no athletic scholarships are permitted. There is a good chance that with means testing these kids pa...

Ulseth and Friends at Kellogg in 77-78 I think?

Steve Ulseth and his Buddies at Kellogg. They were Bantam A National in 75. Ulseth was All-American, Captain, and runner-up to N Broten for the Hobey Baker.
