Re: Century hockey....

I watched some of their scrimmages up in Grand Rapids a few weeks ago and they didn't look up to par at all. I don't think they even won a game, I think they lost to GR by a pretty good amount twice and then tied a Bemidji team that has 7 sophomores on the starting varsity roster. I don't think they...

Re: What was the score hockeysense?...by SS

How far North is Warroad you ask? About as far north as you can be, 10 miles south of the canadien border.

Re: The tap on the elbow

yes a win is a win but how many shifts did your kid manage to get in the varsity game last night? Why are you so fired up about the win, you had nothing to do with it.

Re: Second In All Our Hearts

Moorhead didn't look up to par last night against Bemidji, they let them hang around too long and it almost cost them the game. It was 2-2 after 1 and 5-2 after the second. The final was 8-4 but it was 5-4 Moorhead with just about 6 minutes left in the third, then Bemidji lost it.

Has anyone been to Nymore Arena in Bemidji lately, I'm pretty sure it takes the trophy hands down.

Re: Scores

They did very well actually I thought. They have one big guy that can't move very well but takes up the whole net, and they also have a little guy that moves very well, so put those two together and you have a very good neminder.

Re: Erickson

I think Bemidji will be a powerhouse this year and end up winning the section. They have a great goaltender and will have two solid lines. Their only weak spot will be defense which they have very little returning.

Thanks so she is staying in Park Rapids because the only new faces I saw in Bemidji this year, besides freshmen, were Sarah Erickson and some canadien girl.

Re: Training

Here is the advice I give to other coaches and players. During the offseason lift 4 times a week with alternating different muscles every other day. During the season lift for 2-3 times a week immediately after practice.

Ness and Landman will step in and produce right away, but Nelso still has a little growing up to do before he has a big impact.
