Time for a reality check here. The incident in question with the parents this year is not what got the Coach dismissed nor did it warrant his dismissal. Western is neglecting a key point. What got the Coach in hot water is that this incident occurred on the heels of an unfortunate incident last year...

Okay, Western, that's good to know. Can it be assumed then that no other D10 member will have direct access to the surveys? And, how about the possibility that a D10 Board member has been functioning as a behind the scenes lobbyist for the ficticious group?

Who exactly, Western, will be getting their hands on the survey results at D10? Hopefully not anyone who might have a conflict of interest here. Otherwise, can the results really be trusted? And, why is D10 getting involved directly with the ficticious SCTYHA? Shouldn't they be working directly with...

The Tech survey confidential? Highly doubtful. Trustworthy? Even more doubtful. If it's sent to District 10 you know who will be there to get her hands on it, and then who knows what will happen to the results.

Western, that sure came out of left field. What in the blazing western sky are you referring to? Perhaps the family you have in mind received a scholarship, which should be confidential. Scholarships are offered by most, if not all, hockey associations, you know.

The word is that Wicked offered the administrative director of SCYHA the same position with his new proposed group, but the director turned it down. I'll let Wicked either confirm or deny this.

Actually, the current SCYHA board has done a fantastic job this year. It was a very serene year with many new people stepping up to volunteer in different capacities, which has been great to see. It's usually very healthy for any organization to have a rotation of leadership as it brings in new idea...
