Carpenter was in net vs thouroughbreds 1 - 1 after 2 periods. Justice in net vs Shattuck. This was 2 weeks later last year, and the high school teams had 2 weeks to prepare after the state tournament some player hadn't skated for 3 weeks ( at least not as a team). It was also said that had Walser wo...

Soft game for Lenz vs Forest Lake, 4-3 fl with 4 minutes to go, strong goaltending didn't win this game, a solid and under appreciated White Bear team did. They have a lot of talent that can strike at any time, hats off to the White Bear Team. A couple of dribblers could have cost them the game but ...

Agreed, but starting goalie vs Fergus and your Quote Go Cards on Dec 4th ; 52-11 shots in favor of Alex Vs St Cloud Tech in a 1-1 Tie. On paper Alex looks unbeatable!!!!!!!!!!!! Only Eden Prairie looks deeper. With the quality of players they have I can't see how they could give up 15-20 shots on an...

The Lightning should be taking Forest Lake seriously, sure F Lake will take their lumps while Hamner is at U18's next week, but will be ready for sections. Don't let the competition from the suburban east conference fool you (state champ stillwater game) we will be ready for sections this year. Gran...

I have to agree, GHS did a great job on the Krach rankings. I hope he starts them up again. Any Ranking that takes the bias out and formulates all the win, loss, tie ratios seems more real. It is really hard to see the 2 classes in one ranking as the pioneer press does. If GHS doesn't post the KRACH r...

This league has been very balanced since the high school only teams are playing each other. A good example of is this weekend games and yesterday, Ice cats beat White Caps by a goal, Walser Blue Beat the Ice Cats 4-2, and the White Caps beat Walser Blue 2-0. All three teams went 1-1. So far the leag...

The only difference I see in the U19 from summer to now, is in the teams that were loaded with college players arn't in the league, or have a lot of new faces. Riley ice cats, pink panthers, wild Duffy, Walser White, all tops players went off to college. The teams that had all high school players ar...

The NAHA Vermont tourney went well for all Minnesota teams. The Whitecaps went 4-0 in pool play and qualified for the medal round but lost both to go 4-2 . The Ice Cats went 3-1 in pool play but didn't get the wild card for medal round, finished 5-1. Walser Blue went 2-1-1 in pool play and finished ...
