You have Duluth East ranked #2 in a different thread. Maybe your map got lost, but they are also "up north".

All 8 teams that remain in 5A are good but I would not say that its all " Up for Grabs" . I know this will surprise many but I am goin with The Catholic Factor this year and pickin CDH to win it all. It will be a tough Road but the Raiders appear to be on a Crusade to win it all. The big well funde...

Don't know about the captians, but Nick Brunnette should be the offensive producer and top forward while Blake Doerring will be a strong offensive defenseman and Harrison Blankenship will be another defensive anchor. Did any of Blake's players play in the Elite League? If so, who? How did they do? ...

Now that the election is wrapping up, anybody care to take a guess at what prices we'll see this weekend? Maybe I'm a little cynical (or a lot), but I have a hunch we're going to start seeing them creep north again, very soon. I've been thinking the same thing. Fill up now at low prices while you c...

Hockey does have to be ran like a business in order to succeed. If you don't think there is a business side to hockey you are in a dream world. In a totally unprecedented move, I am going to side with Ho, on this particular point, anyway. :-k Hockey associations are ridiculously political, and they...

Whatever its purpose, all the league can do is help develop players. It cant turn back the tide of players leavng early and hasnt. I dont know anybody who seriously thought that it would. If a player is considering leaving high school for juniors, why would the presence of an Elite league stop him?...

Agree with Pucknutz. Originally this was supposed to be for a few juniors and the seniors. It has turned into being for players with the best potential - true these are potentially DI players - but in reality - they are not better than the older players - just better as sophomores than the seniors ...

My thought on this is... it's a great opportunity to stay home, play an extra 25 games instead of running to Jr's. But i think in some ways it's self defeating because you have such in influx of under classmen playing.(no question in most cases they are very good and deserving to play in the league....
