I think northwoods oldtimer has been listening to the Brainerd coach a little too much. Still sour grapes about losing to Roseau. The high school league is not going to adopt a 3 game series. This isn't college or pros, these are public/private high schools. Money isn't endless and schools could no...

UND is also changing their school song to: O Canada. O Canada! Our home and native land! True patriot love in all thy sons command. With glowing hearts we see thee rise, The True North Strong and free! From far and wide, O Canada, We stand on guard for thee. God keep our land glorious and free O Ca...

This tournament is wide open, and Virginia could very well beat Little Falls, but I find it comical that people use the score of the Alex game to show how LF is not playing well right now..... Alex lost to Little Falls (all by a goal), Cathedral by a goal, and Moorhead by 2. They were as high as #6...

I have a girlfriend...she lets me get away with a lot. Saw 12 high school games (11 in person, one on MyFoxHockey) between Friday Feb. 27th and Yesterday... I think Cathedral is the better team but Mahtomedi is a very quick club that creates a lot of chances with their speed. It's hard to know how ...

Westin is very good hockey player and virginia only lost to little falls 1-0, and they are playing twice as good as when they played little falls. They could beat Hermantown too. It all comes down who is the toughest competitor and who has the most heart to win it all. Anyone can upset anyone no ma...

The MAC is perfect for this size section it creates a better atmosphere and is a better arena, because of its excellent staff and cleanliness. And yes the NHC has terrible ice it is soft and the z-drivers dont cut enough. well thank you. As for the guy who said that they could easily get 4000-4500 ...

This year the favorite is Fergus Falls and they will win this section and go on to place first in the state tournament :!: One team that scares me is those Eagles from St. Cloud Apollo. Just imagine how good they could be if they teach all those Somalians to skate  SECTION 6A FINALS! FERGUS FA...

Re: Section 1a Preview
I guess it's that time again. My early favorites and reasons why: 1. Rochester Lourdes - Voigt, Peterson, Funk, Spratte and Hexum are all playing in the Elite League. Goaltending is the big question mark for these guys. Can Coach Gill get them up for the big game? 2. Albert Lea - Lost some big time...

I'm still disappointed with Little Falls' schedule where are the great teams on their schedule like STA, Warroad or Duluth Marshall. I understand that its tough to schedule these teams but over the past two years they have thought they have been screwed in seedings. Same crap different year LF will ...

Re: Jersey
What about Gaborik to New Jersey for Parise and Gionta? Together they make the same salary, Parise is a beast and New Jersey is very very Center heavy so they don't need him. Gionta is a workhorse that Minnesotans would love and is UFA after the year, Parise is on tap for 3 more at 3+ a year. THe o...
