I don't want to be a homer but he is going to be mentioned with Alexandria's Hemingway, who didn't impress me a ton when I saw him last year. Ben and Sperl will lead the way back to the X. No, he's not going to get mentioned with Hemingway. He's not as good as Hemingway and never will be. That said...

GopherWild, I believe the rule deals with the year of birth. For this legion season, anyone born in 1989 or later were eligible. If the players you named were born in 1990 (or later), then they would be able to play next year. That way, only about half of college freshmen who want to play legion ar...

Pretty low scoring (relatively speaking) in game one today...

Eden Prairie 10
SC 76ers 8

76ers eliminated.

Not a bad performance for a team that went into playoffs well below .500.

Not necessarily related, but also not worthy of it's own thread... The East Twins 15 year old team qualified for the Babe Ruth World Series in Arkansas. They beat Fountain Valley CO, Lincoln NE, and Waite Park twice on their way to the Midwest Plains regional title. For those unaware, East Twins is...

Mr. Kennedy (or other member of the group) -

Why was there no representation from the Tech group at the Minnesota Hockey meeting?

Is there a public copy of the newest survey that was distributed? I heard it didn't go as well as the Tech group had hoped.

]It was Lori Olmschield and Cathy Anderson that talked me into running and nominated me The way I heard it, you requested that they nominate you. Not they requested that you run. However, I don't think this really matters as your nomination and early years of presidency aren't the thing is question.

That being said, I think you should read all the above posts. We are asking SCYHA to appoint a committee to look at a split within the assocation. We asked this a year ago. Hopefully, we can look at some options with one association. I'm going in with an open mind. Would a split within the associat...
