Hill/AHA

I will be at the game...cant miss this one...I am predicting hill wins...2-1. Hoeffel and Arrigoni will score, while Barribal scores the lone goal for AHA..should be a great game though

game

I thought that Hill could have easily won my 5-6 goals. They had a lot of quality chances, way more than NSP. The polars goalie played well. After a rocky first period, O'brien settled down and played better, he didnt have to make too many other saves though, Hill dominated the play...good solid win...

HM

It seemed that Hill was just going through the motions until about the third period. The good thing for us pioneer fans is that, they are finding a way to bury their chances late in the games...which is something that a team needs to do if they are going to go to State... Should be a good game tomor...

Re: The curse lives on alright!....by SS

The WBL high school teams are always good because of WBL youth programs....they are always ranked in the top 10...so the kids that go on to play High School hockey have all played together and know how to win, even at a young age. Its a direct corelation...example: Forest Lake youth hockey-a joke ov...

WBL Bears

First of all, the whole Mike Scott thing is questionable, because I don't know why he got cut...I can give you a guarantee that the reason that he left WBL was not because of Faust...that is a fact! As for Faust "making the game more interesting." what is your logic behind that one??? By playing "gu...

WBL BEARS

hey there wblbears06...no need to call a kid who leaves White Bear a reject. You are a die-hard Faust backer...no denying that. But will you do us all a favor and agree that he is cocky, does give up big rebounds, and makes some extremely bone-headed plays???? Cmon kid, take the orange and black bli...

I agree with the GREEN BREW MAN....Every time #9 touched the puck in the defensive zone, he created space...his ability to counter on a defenders forecheck opened up the break out....that last part was true as well...Lechner had Hill's third and fourth line out there against WB's top line, with Mcal...

wbl/hm

Everything I have read on here so far as been true. Little Phillippi played great. It reminded me of the Hill/Moorhead game last season. Great play by both teams. Yeah Grun should have got that shot up a couple inches, but ohh well that is hockey. That is why it is such a great game.(hill/wb). Hoeff...

what????

Hey there Fandangle....I am just curious as to where you got your sources from when you said that the Hill players from last year said that Shroeder(sp) would skate all over them. I played in both games, and he hardly skated around anyone...maybe the refs.....It takes more than one 9th grader to win...

Are you telling us that since this kid already has 12pts in 4 games, that he can continue this throughout the season? Plus, the Mr. Hockey Award usually goes to someone on one of the very top teams in the state....sorry guys that have 5 cities on there team.....either grun or barriball

Yes, Aldrich does a very poor job of taking shot totals. However, I do not think that they were too far off in the Hill-Wayzata game...Hill definately had the upper-hand. As for the game on Saturday, I see that O'brien played in nets and got a shut-out...How did he look? is he getting the start on t...
