I realize it's still not possible, but it would be nice to see these rankings separated by sections some how, meaning that two, or even four, teams from the same section can't possibly all make it to state, there fore, cannot possibly end up both ranked in the top 8 in the end. Silly state we live i...

Pondhockey, that was beautiful, nice job! How can a 2 loss team be seated below a 6, 8, 11, or 13 lost team? Let alone 4th or even 5th as some would think? Water must be thinner north of HWY 2! I have drank the water from up there though, and I still don't get that.

These are elite clubs, and not all are welcome. Just read that back, and noticed that might seem negative. Did not mean that, just that these are all top level teams, hand picked, and tend to be the same groups of kids over and over. Guess that seems to be how it works. Everyone wants to have all t...

What's the difference between this team and the Jr White Caps? Looks like alot of the same players. I too have noticed that there are some players on more than one team! Don't you also think that there are probably players not getting a chance to play because some kids are on multiple teams? some p...

Have to agree here. Why is it always the same names, why not send new kids each year, or at least a portion.

This may just be some growing pains. I'm kind of dumb to all of this, but from past posts, wasn't the B&A tried and failed? And somewhere along the way, wasn't it decided to follow the boys example? Don't both the boys and the girls programs suffer from the same thing that MN goes by the July 1 birt...

Copied from the other post. Sick or not, that's just how it goes. Maybe they weren't so much over rated, but more so maybe Mounds View was slightly under rated? I'm sure both teams had their sicknesses, boo-boo's, and personal issues. Wednesday night February 18th 2008 from approximately 5:30pm to 7...

Tough way for #7 ranked Centennial to end the season. Extremely bad timing as influenza hit their team hard this week. Many missed school and practice all week.
No credit to Mounds View?

IMO…it’s an athletic award, should give the greater consideration based on the hockey performance. Right or wrong I would believe that’s what most people attribute it to. However, I have no problem with some minimum requirements that is tied to academics and behavior (attendance, GPA, etc.). Never ...
