veto the trade campaign! (for the fantasy baseball league)

I might be too late for this, I don't know how many days we have to veto, but I post a campaign to veto the trade. I figure my campaign will likely take away any votes the veto originally had in the first place because people hate me, but I at least have to try. The first and second place teams are ...

I was told Troy Williamson was sent to some kind of hand/eye coordination school during the off season. Anyone know any details about this? Apparently it's a Nike school, or sponsored by Nike, and Torry Holt also participated in it after a freshman year slump.

Baker. He has the most major league experience, give him the first shot. He slumped some last year, but who hasn't heard of the sophomore slump. If it doesn't work out in a couple starts, we have plenty of bullets to reload.

Also, Al Bundy used that same line.

"Girls...can't live with 'em... ..."

And he shrugged his shoulders. I wonder which episode aired first.

ha...Good answers. I knew it would yield a positive response on the board. Because you guys are a bunch of sports loving bunch of guys, yet you're balanced enough that you can tackel a situation such as love without any kind of insecurities. I see where you're coming from Govs. I sense the insecure ...

I love you

Do you guys think it's important to say "I love you" at the end of each phone call with your significant others? As a guy, I think those words should be used only at certain moments, and overusing the words many times a day make them lose meaning. The girl wants to say it constantly. I alw...

I heard a guy on the radio say there was no way Schilling would have the surgery he had and not bandage it up properly, especially while playing in a major sporting event. He said if it was bandaged properly, you could smash it with a bat and the blood still wouldn't seep through. Also, I didn't not...

Why change the tournament colors? The simplicity of gold, silver, bronze is perfect. I'm not going to remember which color is which level...is the red, white and blue the colors of Schwann's logo or something?

Are you guy's kidding? I mock Buehrle and his Wimp Sox. He was lucky that the Texas bats were out of comission last night, but expect nothing more of this in the future. White Sox are down for the count after winning the World Series.

While I'm not thrilled with the way he pitched, I don't think they can jump the gun that quickly. Not that anyone cares about TomTheBomb's opinions, but I agree. It was his first outing, a new club, a new environment, and it was against the Yankees. Give him at the very least another shot. The anno...

You guys going to ease up on Silva a little? I didn't see the game, it looks as if he had at least one bad inning according to what you guys say. But his #'s weren't bad when it was all said and done. And why was Castillo looking so bad? He had a hit.

Yea EREmpire, what the heck is wrong with you. Just as I think you are cool enough to talk civily with, you go betting against the home team again. p.s. More like that Larry guy and Matt LeCroy. I think they make a better match. But how about Mike Redmond and Bob Slydel?? http://img216.imageshack.us...

I can forsee a serious riot breaking out this year. I don't know if it'll be in the Dome, outside of the Dome, or where, but there are so many big time football fans in this state, in the state of building frustration, anger and their short fuses seem to be growing shorter. Sounds like the perfect r...

I liked a few of these. The passing of Herb takes away another guy from an era where the announcer just gave you the game. Sadly today, our dumbed down culture needs the announcers to make the game interesting for us. It's the same reason why Joe Buck, charter member of the lucky sperm club, feels a...

I'd like to see Sports Illistrated's prediction accuracy. I could swear over the early 2000's there was an occasion or two where they picked both the Vikings and the Timberwolves to win it all.
