Schwan cup is changing names next year. Saw signs that it will be called something with Herb Brooks in the name. Heard that Schwan's got bought up by some Chinese company. Perhaps Schwan's will no longer be affiliated with the tournament.

4 teams leaving doesn't explain why the tournament would change format for the Gold Division and why they would sit on 28 teams instead of 32. WBL 1 East Ridge 1 final

H-M had all of their Varsity players except for Sam Carr who is due back on Monday. I know that Clafton played the entire time for Rapids, but not sure about the rest of the team. H-M goalies split both scrimmages in half.

Changes from last year are adding Stillwater and deleting Eastview and Elk River. As of now both school's schedules show home and home, back to back games with Edina Friday-Saturday, January 18-19.
