The winner of this game gets a firm hold on the #2 seed in 7AA with a chance to beat CEC and move to #1. Should be a close game.

Cloquet, Duluth East, Grand Rapids, Elk River, Brainerd, Forest Lake.... Enough said! I'm glad I live where I do, because I will be able to watch this and 7A unfold. 7A with Hermantown, Hibbing, Virginia, I Falls, Greenway, and Eveleth will be just as fun! Exactly, it's like there is 7AA and then 3...

Everyone is too infatuated with CEC right now. These two teams are very evenly matched.

Majin you have to realize this is a big rivalry, Denfeld really wants to beat East, trust me. Three years ago Denfeld came into this game with the same kind of schedule only they had a losing record. Denfeld was up 3-0 going into the third before everyone cracked and East won 4-3. I'll never forget...

Emotion is bigger than results. Ask the Gophers when they play the Bulldogs.

Denfeld has closed the gap, and I think they will be more emotionally charged for this one. Denfeld comes out firing and holds on for an upset.

I know you're just joking, but I would never go there in the first place. I'm not a pervert. Those places are degrading to women. Guys who go to those places will never know what true love with a woman really is. Anyways, back on topic a bit. I'm suprised Minnesota didn't pursue Tyler Johnson. Color...

NHL06 Time for Brainerd to wake up. Have you ever heard of the phrase let sleeping dog lie? All of this Brainerd this and Brainerd that reminds me of years gone by when Sandy Smith and the Smith clan came to St.Cloud to get respect and ended up with father/son fighting in the stands. I wish Brainer...

I know up north the fees were about $75-$100/hour for rentals. In Anchorage you can't touch arena ice for under $250/hour. Are the Twin Cities like that?

Being the game of the series at the CARC, I'd have to say Cloquet. TJ and the kid from Stockholm will be too much O for Brainerds D.

They've had White and Welliver injured lately. Also defensemen Brett Cone. That's three guys from last years state team and it really messes things up for the lines. Right now is an oppurtunity for Rapids to develop depth for later in the season. We really won't know how good their team can be until...

Someone said no one on Rapids could make the Spuds 3rd line. Okay, #18 Joe Stejskal is going to D1 Dartmouth. So every player on Moorheads top 3 lines is going Division 1 college hockey? Someone has just been exposed as a worthless hockey analyst.

Grand Rapids has a Golden Gopher, that is part of the reason. Also, they have good games on days when FSN isn't tied up with the Gophers/Wild/TWolves. Originally it was just one game for GR, but then the FSN guys realized there were two games at Baemer Arena, so it was like if they have everything s...

Rapids dominated the 3rd and OT because Brainerd only has 2 lines. Hey GR19 :-({|= :^o Shots on goal in OT Brainerd 8, Grand Rapids 6 and that's with Brainerd playing short handed and Rapids had their dogs on the ice for most of the OT  By the way, Gags & Hanson missed that hook on Engle ...

I don't think so. When Grand Rapids gets healthy they will be just as good as anyone else. Hahahaha. I watched the game in person and GR didn't have a single player on the ice that could play on Moorhead's third line. Moorhead dominated them all night, Rapids D were slow and Moorhead just walked ri...

Ellingson is probably the best overall. Siebert is too inconsist, when his game is on he's a whole level better than Ellingson. Leis is solid. Snyder has done very well. Jensen has immense potential, but when you can't cover loose pucks, is your heart really even in it? You gotta play 51 minutes lik...

followin' the sports section

Pretty safe to say Brainerd and Rapids will now be compared on their 7AA results the rest of the way. They both have basically the identical 7AA schedule, playing everyone important once, except they both play CEC in a home and home series. Rapids dominated the 3rd and OT because Brainerd only has 2...
