I was at the game and there were many penalties both ways not called. The goalie interference you are referring to was a stillwater defensemen taking the White Bear player into the Stillwater goalie, hence the interference call. The right call should have been continuance and the goal allowed. The o...

Budish back playing at 100% would be a big step in the right direction for the Gophers. The kid will make them tougher and add some much needed grit and size. The Gophers need to add more players like this, the kind of players that help you win the tough grind it out type games.

Actually Barry, you are again wrong. Hill is definately the favorite. Hill has 5-7 potential division I players on this team. They are underclassmen but still very highly skilled. This Hill team that all of you are discounting just beat ST. Thomas a few short weeks ago and is the odds on favorite to...

If Stillwater gets the lead I think they can pull off the upset. Stillwater will clog the neutral zone and play this game close to the vest. Phil will hope for some good play out of his special teams and a powerplay goal or two wins it for them. Roseville will try to get the lead and wait for Stillw...

Did anyone watch the great game between Wb and Woodbury the other night? That will tell you all you need to know about the coaching of WB, Outstanding. Woodbury is also a very well coached team. That was a great high school hockey game played between two very good teams. Hats off to the players and ...

The facts are that this team finished about where they should have. This team is not that talented, I have been saying it all year. WBMD hasn't wanted to hear that because he can't bash the players and the coaches when they actually finish better than expected. If this team gets to a section semi an...

I hope his rehab is going well. This kid is just what the Minnesota program needs, a big strong bruising forward. I believe this player will make a big impact on our level as well.

Midwest, you hit it on the head. Parents have made coaches cowards today. they can't win, they are to tough on the kid or not tough enough etc, etc. No matter what they do they are always wrong. The problem that you are going to see happening is the good coaches leaving or in some cases being run ou...

Should be listed as one of the worst jobs out there. I love all the posts that say, "the varsity coaches lied to this or that kid, they told him one thing and then did another." People figure it out please. If you were not there for the conversation I would tend to believe the Coach over y...

This will be an intense and grinding game for both teams. I will go with E.P. just because I think they are evenly matched and it is E.P.'s turn at home.

Gentlemen, as far as plugging your players at the next level and Midwest scout can confirm this; We don't talk to the coaches until we are interested. All of this stuff on here about the high school coach needs to plug his players more or in better ways is malarkey. We know about these kids long bef...

These are all good points. Sager is a very good high school coach and probably a better person. I deal with coaches all of the time and he is among the best at selling his kids to us. I will also say this, the white bear kids that come out of his program are much more ready for the next level than m...

Why do admins get involved

Why do the super and school board get involved. The A.D.s should have the final say. Why these situations play out like this all the time I will never know. Parents need to just be parents and enjoy their kids sports for what they are. We are sliding down a very slippery slope with parents being abl...

White Bear doesn't have any defensemen that could play in the USHL. White Bear people need to realize that the long run of great hockey players is coming to an end. Cent should win this one by a score of 5 or 6 to 2. I didn' see the Hill game but knew that the outcome would be all hill. the Bears ar...

After watching the game last night I would say this team is pretty good. They work hard and use their bodies. They were sloppy at times in their systems as was White Bear but that will come with more practice and game time for the youngsters. Because of the section they are in they have a great shot...

youngblood you hit it on the head. They will blame the coach because it couldn't be that they are an above average team at this time. People need to relax and let some of these teams grow.

Why would you be surprised they are losing? they are losing to teams that are a little better than them. White Bear fans need to relax and let this team try and build. They are not the talent laden team that some people like to think they are. Above average at this time, no better. By the end of the...

SEC scotty-- good eye. They are very weak on defense this year. their forwards are o.k. but they didn't help much last night on defense. The battles that took place on the boards last night were all Woodbury. I think the size of Woodbury combined with their physical play wore WB out. By the third pe...

Good hockey game in St. Paul tonight. White Bear early, Woodbury late, two pretty even teams. I don't think after watching tonight I would say White Bear has any number 1 or number 2 defensemen, just a bunch of 4's and 5's. The best one tonight was number 2 by far. the seniors did some things well b...
