Doesn't Plante have a kid from proctor on his squad? If I remember right he still plays for the hawks...scores some goals too. BUT they don't recruit. Denfeld has kids from other towns...BUT they don't recruit. Granted not sure why they would go to denfeld but thats nor here nor there...maybe it's t...

Andover is 6 seed right now IMO, If they beat St. Franny later they will stay above 7 seed. Who is the 7 then? Andover is 4-11 right now. They had a two game stretch of wins over CEC (grossly outplayed) and FL. Besides that they beat the powerhouses of Champlin Park and Coon Rapids. CEC does have w...

St. Cloud Apollo vs Willmar Not sure why StCA has this game scheduled on this day. Traveling to Willmar on Monday and then to Brainerd on Tuesday????? Duluth Denfeld vs Duluth East East wins or the whole to crawl out of gets deeper. 1 and 5 in the last 6. Some people were excited about the Blaine l...

Actually, after Rapids finished killing a PP with a about a couple minutes left in the 1st, CEC didn't get another recorded SOG until the 8 minute mark of the 3rd period.

Hermantown wins state, and moves up to AA for 2016-17.
I agree that they will win state this year, but I think the earliest they could opt up would be 17-18.
That must be when Bruce retires from coaching???

Rooney won't be back. Couldn't make the "Elite" league and will end up playing his senior year with the Magicians which I can't blame. Smallidge may do before and after with Omaha but he's listed on the Elite roster. Elite camp is this weekend so time will tell. Guess on Bender is that he...

Hockey hub has FL losing to the Elks last year in sections 7-1, on the heels of Duluth beating the Elks. According to the records, FL goalie had a save percentage of .811. Any insight what happened Goaline ? Did she "tank" the team, or possibly did other factors come into play? Curious of...

My guess at section

Andover
Elk river
Forest lake
Rapids
St Francis ?
Duluth?
CEC
Cambridge

Debatable between duluth and st Fran. Duluth stud left for single A glory in proctor...st Fran seemed to be somewhat up and coming.

It was said in a previous comment, but I'll reiterate...the pee wees and bantams AA teams had some not only big names, but also great coaching behind their benches. Those 2 teams were amazing to watch. They were aggressive, played offensively. Will things change when they get to HS..a more defensive...

Maybe...just maybe...a high school team who plays A (and in their defense they are not doing anything wrong)....but just maybe the youth teams should only be allowed to play what the high school does. You play A in high school your youth teams can only go as high as A.

I didn't hear anything about Superior, WI moving...they only had like 10 or 12 kids on varsity last year.
2 Duluth to Proctor.
1 cloquet left for Hermantown in February, but rumor on street MSHSL denied the petition and she is not allowed to play her senior year.
