St Thomas Academy student section are as dry as popcorn farts and look retarded in their uniforms at the xcel...i loved when Hanowski scored last year and went to their student section and gave them a salute! pretty funny. that was one of the happiest moments of the tournament for me. and since i w...

I like the STA student section. They seem to enjoy themselves and energize the place. They are always having fun which makes it fun to go to the games.
I think people think they are arrogant because they wear their uniforms to the games and win most of the time.

STA should opt up if this streak continues for the next 3-5 years, but they are relatively new on the hockey scene. Also, this years seniors are the group that put them on the map. Who knows how good they will be in the coming years without the class of 2008.

Being a huge STA fan, that game could have gone either way. It was one of those cases where a hot goalie and a lucky break on offense could have led to disaster for the Cadets. I would say the Cadets were fortunate SSP did not score a weak goal earlier in the game. STA was in control, but it could h...

I don't think they would be hated as much. By the way, they don't have a strong following. When they played Totino yesterday. Their side of Aldrich was vacant. No one went to the game because STA was playing Sibley in basketball and it was STA History Day for Juniors and Seniors. Their following is...

I'm glad Mathomedi lost. Any team that dyes their hair blonde for sections semi-finals namely AHA and Mathomedi deserves to lose. The STA/SSP game should be fun to watch because it seems like the two schools really hate each other. The last matchup there were some words and fists flying between a co...

Review of Game...

It was a close game after a scoreless first period. STA scored first on the powerplay. H-M answered back when Rob Vannelli missed the puck at the point giving Zepada a breakaway. Furne got a goal. Then Saintey from STA sniped Phillipi with a slapshot. Then Rob Vannelli tripped skating backwards on a...

Also, STA got a goal called off for high sticking. In my judgment, it was a goal. It would have made the game 4-3. Instead, Breck turned around with two goals 30 seconds apart.

All I got to say is STA was off and Breck was on and lucky. Breck's goalie played great while STA's goalie was very suspect. STA for the most part controlled the game, but Breck capitalized on STA's poor defensive decisions. It seemed like all of Breck's goals were 2 on 1 one timers caused by STA tr...

RL Stars....

I think it is a legit reason to go to STA for education. It is one of the best schools in the state education-wise. It is a great environment for young men being a catholic, all-male, military, and college-prep institution.

Elite II

I played in this league last year. It has its pros and cons. I would recommend playing in it if you don't have any other hockey during the week or you're playing a fall sport, but if you are skating everyday in some program it's not worth the travel and money. There is a lot of hacking. Looking back...

I'm sure this has already been said a lot but as an STA student and hockey player...

HShockeywatcher get off this forum, you are a horrible representation of what St. Thomas and its community is all about.

You've done enough damage to destory any type of credibility STA had on here.
