College coaches will find the worthy players unless you are intentionally trying to hide from them and even then you probably won't be able to. Don't get too worried about stats. :) You give coaches way to much credit. Stats on the hub do matter. If a player isnt going to national camp or naha they...

stats
from Wikipedia: to keep it simple! (In ice hockey, a shot on goal is a shot that will enter the goal if it is not stopped by the goaltender. A shot on goal must result in either a goal or a save.) My take , a stat is a stat no matter if it is for a player or a goalie. There will always be that quest...

Ex Stillwater player injured in crash
Two sisters are injured after a head-on crash in Stillwater. The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating why 46-year-old Jon Wentz crossed the center line on Highway 5 Tuesday night. His Buick hit a Honda Civic driven by 20-year-old Marah Sobczak of Stillwater, who is a goalie on the Gustavus Adolph...

Re: Reebok High performance vs. Junior Festival
With limited time and resources, what would be the best for your daughter, the Reebok High Performance or the Junior Festival??? Having had a Daughter in Both, I think they are pretty equal in seeing scouts, in the Rebok Select 16 an 17's to me seemed too expensive for what you get. The Team that I...

Re: Regarding Brandt and USA camp, "Greatest" labe
Rachel Ramsey attended the same USA Hockey holiday camp last season; in the long run, that worked out okay for Minnetonka. If Hannah Brandt can take away something from the camp to improve her game that could potentially help the Pioneers come tourney time, then it isn't a bad trade for them. As fo...

I read in the paper this AM that the MSHSL Board approved a co-op with Holy Angels at their mtg yesterday. I assume - and hope - that this means starting immediately so that those girls that are left without a place to play are no longer in that scenario. If immediate - congrats to the MSHSL for do...

Looks like Hockey Hub has changed some stats (Shakopee). They are better! but still not perfect. I noticed on a couple of game stats that a goalie played 76 minutes but they were scored on 7:55 into the first OT There were some others that showed 60 minutes but there was no OT, on another the other...

Re: Richfield
I would assume that it is too late for any of the girls to go to another HS program. Try-outs are over and most teams have already had scrimmages. Some will even begin play this week. U-19 in Edina would make the most sense. Sad situation for those girls and their families. Someone has to be held a...
