Re: elliott70

Well, at least one person, Hockeylife79 understood my post. Wow, tough crowd! As far as my tact; if saying what in your own opinion is wrong or right, a bashing, then I'm so sorry, I really am.

Re: Grillo's MN Hockey Camps ... The BEST

This is exactly what is wrong with our game today!!!! I know you all feel like in order to keep up, we need to play year round. $650/wk??? You know what I could do with my family vacation for that amount of money? It makes me sick to my stomach listening to people spend there summers in the hockey r...

Re: spare me

It's nice that the U, and other D-1 schools are getting these high quality players from AHA. My only question is.........Where are they all really from? What youth program is responsible for the developement of these kids? Not a slam on the Recruiting, but when you only mention where they played the...

He's back in the Falls, not in school because he has enough credits to graduate. From what I know, he will be going back to Moorhead to Graduate later on this month.

Re: I Falls/ Fort Frances Ont.

Nothing to the Rumor, the Falls will be fine, all programs run into a snag every few years, expecially now a days, with the delcline in numbers. The Fort kids, from what I know, aren't interested, and the Falls Hockey followers, don't like outsiders coming in.

Jls you could only hope

No rumors on this no brainer, but I did hear that some Hockey players started shooting hoops, so that they may have a chance at getting to a State Tourney. I saw the Rapids-Cloquet Semi Final game in Hibbing, and it was so obvious. Cloquet didn't have better players than Rapids, they just played wit...

Carpenter Guy gets it!

Do some of you threadheads read before you comment. I posted quite a ways back, and finally came back to some funny stuff. All we are saying.................is don't brag up your teams as being better than the Double A schools, when you won't even compete with them. I said earlier, we destroyed, in ...

Would solve the problem, but will not be done...... too bad! Slinger, I'm with you, Slappy's antics are old. And Warroad would not have won the AA tournament!

Here it is: Private schools, will go back to having their own State Tournament. No T.V. coverage, because of lack of interest.

...

Re: Moorhead player leaving for Graduation?

Last reply, your way off base, on all 4 of your comments.
1. Prettyman is not a bad coach, he actually knows the game very well. I will agree, some of his practices could use some fine tuning, and direction towards better team play, but he does know how to coach.

2. The Bahr situation; The...

Come on Fran, Fess up

Uncle Puckhead did well in his post. Now Fran, now that you have so much knowledge on Drew, let's find out who you are, so that your opinion on him can be validated. Now if your just some kid that's played against him, then let us know, then we can bookmark that as common youth jealosies. I've come ...

Fran, you don't know the kid, "Bottom Line" Whether he's good enough to play D-1 is yet to be seen. But a kid who's
6'-3", with good hands, is going to get the opportunity.

Drew Fisher

Drew is a bit ahead of the Walters and VanDevelde kid, just to name a few. Mr. Fisher will be on that final roster. I still would like to see him back on D.

The Coach- give me a break

Is Dave Hendrickson the coach of this team? If so, I guess the good ole boy network is still working strong for all the Ted Brill cronies. Plenty of great High School coaches out there, and this is what they come up with. We need to get some younger people and minds on the board for "Minnesota Hocke...

Re: DREW WALTERS!

Wake up people, I think the Hermantown coach is bigger than that. He's a good coach, and is above any personal agendas towards any player. I wonder if Mr. Plante's kid was looked over a time or two during his career, I bet he just told Derek to go out and work harder and your time will come, instead...

Thank you Stateyourname!

Man, I am getting beat up on this one. I just brought it up because I have seen some problems occuring at opposing team benches, and I felt it has become a form of taunting. Stateyourname put it much better than I did. Let's get on with the real conversation pieces like..............Warroad vs Kitts...

Whoops, sorry kids!

I'm not here to ruin your fun, just think it's getting carried away when both teams benches are on the same side of the ice? Emotion is a huge part of the game, and I am in no way attacking team unity after a goal. Oh, and I'm sure 4th line jimmy can hardly wait for tommy to score again, so he can s...

No more bench celebrations!

Sorry kids, but this relatively new Celebration act has got to come to an end, and soon. Not sure when and where it all started, but to me, it has become a form of taunting and is starting to cause some problems. Can a Ref call an unsportsmanlike conduct for this? I think we all know what I'm talkin...

Dave Brown, Very good Hockaholic

I was just waiting for someone to put down the real answer, which is David Brown (70-73), the most talented player to play high school hockey in the Falls, Larry Ross said he was the most gifted player he had coached. Tim Sheehy was the best player, and Oscar Mahle is the player he wanted at crunch ...

Selvog is a gamble!

After watching selvog this past year, and during today's game against Fergus Falls, I have concluded that he would be a gamble for any Division 1 team to take a chance on. He has some skill, good shot and a smart player, so he has that going for him, but there is something missing. If I was coaching...

Don't be so hard on Jr slim, your dad may have played with Constantine, but he might not have told you the whole story. Museta(Moose) graduated in 1975, Kevin in 77. Kevin was a Sophomore during Museta's Senior year, and the 2 switched off with a third goalie by the name of Charlie Holland. I'll nev...
