Did anybody else see Johnson's spin move against Ohio State? It was sick. Me and my buddies jaws hit the floor at the same time.

If you ask me someone sounds jealous. What about congratulating the AHA team on making it to state a year after moving up to play with the girls team?

i agree with that, the co-ops should not be based on numbers but where they fit.

Re: Excel Layout

I assumed that, i meant that they force everyone to fill all the seats in the on the glass seats, then a row up, a row up, filling each row sequentially. The empty seats would make it very difficult to see the puck once it got above the boards.

Re: AHA in AA

Alright that makes a lot of sense. I agree that it is easier to play one game serieses (sp?) but that still does not take away from the fact that they are a great team. plus, think about how much longer it would take if they did it by a three game series, casue if you did it for sections it would ha...

Re: Excel Layout

The thing with the X though, is if there are empty seats in the lower bowl you cannot see the puck. The dark green seats make it nearly impossible to see the puck. So it actually will be noticable by the teams, unless they push everyone down as low as possible.

Re: Feelings? Excel VS Ridder Good or bad ???

I agree with Limas, that the move was made too soon. It is a move that should eventually be done, but I feel was done much too soon. It is just surprising that rink built for one of the premier D-1 womens hockey programs in the nation is not good enough for the MSHSL girls state tournament. I just t...

Not to be a smart ass but, if they are going to have to have total equality with venue, then the ticket prices should be the same or damn near the same.

Re: Feelings? Excel VS Ridder Good or bad ???

I am going to say bad move. Ridder was a good rink for the girls state tourney, it provided an excellent atmosphere in a full rink. I have played at Excel when it was sold out, as well as when it was empty. When it was empty it just felt ginormous and well empty. It felt hollow. It was not as much f...

Re: ...

According to www.ncaa.com there is no D-2 hockey. The latest "proof" of D-2 hockey I have been able to find is 1998. Alabama-Huntsville was #1 in the poll... Schools can consider themselves D-2, this recognition is used for the other sports. SCSU is a D-2 school that plays hockey D-1.
<...

I believe, but am not positive, that the big screen was only on cause it was such a big game. I went to a couple at the very beginnning of the season and dont recall it being on. The NHC is a really nice facility, but all the hockey players I know wish there was one in St. Joe (or on campus for that...

That almost makes sense. Except for the fact that excluding football players they make cuts the same time as everyother team in the state.

Alex's roomy is a good goalie by any standards, phenomenal by Cali standards... His glove is weak, but more so that his physical glove is thin. I know for a fact he has "broken his hand" a couple times already this season. I would say he gets the nod before junior year.

Si-Core

I have heard from many people that I play with and talk to that say the Si-Core had no feel to it at all. I know a kid who got one, used it for a week, and went to get a new different stick because it was so bad. I personally have never used. On a side note, why would they discontinue it if it was a...

After much, well just a little, experimentation I found that dish soap worked the best. I did not try the scuba stuff as it is relatively hard to find a scuba shop around me, esepcially because I do not know the area. Thanks everyone though for offering their input.
