I wish I could have made the game but like usual it sounds like these two teams had a very good game. For any of the previous posts that may have reasons (excuses) for teams not playing at their potential it's always going to happen. Either way, any team that wants to beat Warroad probably cannot gi...

Roseau may just get a scare on the behalf of GF central if they don't be careful. IF they do, I wouldn't be surprised if they come out saturday night on a mission.

Good luck to both teams and if you have predictions feel free to post them or vote in the poll.

In the case of the opponents ranking being irrelevant, this is where I would prefer a subjective vote by a human being, because I surely feel that should absolutely be a component of any attempt to rank teams. Wouldn't using # of opponents wins as a component exclusive of team rankings be potential...

I guess the bottom line is polls dont win games. They make for great conversations but in the end its the sectionals and state tournament that decide who is the best. The team with the gold medals around their necks at the end of the year are the only team that can call themselves number 1. Agreed!...

Dustin made the right choice for himself regardless of the "politics". And when i meant who cares, i meant dustin probably doesn't regret making his choice. And if you agree with me why do you accuse me of not understanding the politics, i didn't even argue against them?? I'm commenting on...

If the stats were still on the roseauramshockey website you'd see hands down its Roseau vs Warroad. Also it would help if they were in the same class. (preferebly AA for more bragging rights  ) For the northern rivals: Traditional rival: Roseau vs Warroad (mutual respect and tradition) Growing...

Who cares about the reunion game anyway if he's in the NHL. Seriously you're all arguing about something that probably doesn't matter to him right now anyway. So maybe dustin wasn't born in roseau, oh well. And so what if he didn't graduate in roseau, oh well. He grew up on their ice sheets and play...

Roseau hockey players tend to let success go to their heads sometimes, aka cockiness. If they can mentally start from scratch next year and focus on each game rather than the prize at they end they should be able to do it. Look at the Spuds, AHA, CDH, etc. this year they all looked passed their sec...

Roseau Looks past century Ewing will play the game of his life and send the Section 1AA panthers to the championship and i also think another reason for this upset would be Rochester century is more physichal then Roseau and that might wear roseau down RC-3 Roseau-2 I'm not saying Roseau won't have...

...Did like Warroad’s goalie in the AL game. Jake Vatnsdal (originally from Roseau) Honestly, in my opinion this game will depend on the goal tending. The better tender will carry them into the championship. I would love to see a Roseau county sweep this year, but everything is still up for grabs. ...

Warroad is over-rated  look for Hermantown to roll to the finals against rival Marshall [-( Syd 8) How is Warroad over-rated if most people expect them to lose to the #1 Hermantown?? You look at their record since Vatnsdal has been in net and they've lost 5 games, 2 to Roseau, 1 to Moorhead, ...

Are you guys serious? I don't care how physical Warroad is they will not beat Hermantown. You can't check someone if you can't catch them. If Warroad plays like they did tonight it will really be a sad semifinal game. Hermantown 5 Warroad 1 I think this will surprise Hermantown fans about Warroads ...

I am a northern fan, but it would be nice to see another upset. Roseau has been overated all year and need to either prove themselves this weekend or I guess they could just be knocked off by Woodbury (The team that supposily has no chance in hell of going to the semis or even the SHIP.) GOOD LUCK ...

...With Mike "the shutout" Lee in net Roseau will be tough to beat. Hopefully I don't jinx him You can call him "the shutout" Lee, but if you watched most of the games he played in, the entire Ram defensive play stepped up a notch (especially against Moorhead). I've said before,...

I think it is great to read all the people wishing good luck Woodbury. Not a foul word has been said about them, their team or coach. Rams fans cannot forget how incredible the feeling was to knock of the Spuds when everyone thought the Spuds would dominate. Saying that, I don't think Roseau (players and fans) should disregard the fact that Woodbury is here and they won't want to keep their bags packed. Roseau still needs to keep ...

Re: post 7133

Roseau 5 Woodbury 1 Lee stands tall. I think Lee will be on the bench for this game. Roseau will play Bjerk first and then Lee. My sources have told me they're sticking with Lee unless they lose the first, then Bjerk plays. I understand the importance of a Senior playing, but you still have to go w...

200 Rams fans + 16,800 Citiots = 17,000. Witto Roseau ALWAYS is the fan favorite. I'll say 800 Roseau County fans (gotta remember Warroad is there too!) + 16,100 Citiots + 100 Scouts (wondering how Lee has a .56 GAA and 97.6% Save % = 17,000 If Roseau keeps up their play defensively like against Mo...
