cityhockey, I didn't call you a moron. I said morons read something then repeat it differently. So you heard it from someone who heard it from someone, who heard it from someone. Just saying there's a moron in there somewhere who misinterpreted the article that's all. And if the article understated ...

I hear Phillipi has gotten an offer from Providence....I also hear that he is holding out for an offer from a WCHA school...any truth to that? According to a Pioneer Press interview with Bob Sansevere; Phillippi, received a call from Providence. He also said about playing in the WCHA that i...

They can't do much about the power of the other teams in their conference, but their schedule still included wins over STA (twice), BSM, White Bear Lake (3 times), Duluth East, and Moorhead. That's 8 wins against quality opponents. Throw in a win over Wayzata and loses to Minnetonka and AHA and that...

I can't understand why Westerhouse didn't play more this year, he's a hell of a player but was relegated to 4th line most of the year until Zapeda was hurt. May not be one of Lechners favorite players for some reason. If this year was any indication though, I would bet he plays second line with Widi...

I almost forgot about Ryan Furne's goal from outside of the blue-line with .1 second left in the first period of the championship game. That's got to rate in the top 5.

Re: Hill 3 - Roseau 2

Waiting around Excel for the Refs to decide if the Roseau goal would stand (tick tok) than to have the Ref signal goal.... the crowd goes nuts. Only to have the Off Ice Official kindly remind the referee that it was disallowed, quite a turn of events to take in live in St. Paul. Not seeing any repl...

HM is losing Cecka, Furne, Phillippi, Sova, Dolan, and Singerhouse. A repeat will be tough but they return Zapeda, Widing and Kohls which means they wil still have a very formidable 1st line.

Great post Ram_Fan_Forever. I agree the HM-Moorhead and HM-Lakeville telecasts did not show Hill at their best. As a matter of fact after watching the way they played against Lakeville I didn't give them much of a chance against Roseau, but they came out strong and surprised everyone. I was especial...

Congrats to Hill (who played a weak schedule) and to Roseau (who played a weak schedule) and to Edina (who didn't) Unless Roseau and Hill can manage to schedule Shattuck and the Gophers next year idiots will whine about their schedules. Hill played Tonka, BSM STA and everyone says their schedule is ...

There is a big difference between putting AA on a banner for a year when there was only one tourny, and putting State champs on a banner from a year in which a team won a "lower class" tourny. Quit your nitpicking Hockeywatcher
