Re: Fargo at USHL Fall Classic
Looks like Lee is being challenged as he gets out of the blocks. Certain he will get better but it looks like in the first two games of the Classic he got pulled twice for allowing 8 goals in about 95 minutes of play. It doesn't matter how he plays, he was promised 45 games. Right? The piece...

Two elite players giving up their senior year at an elite program. What does this say about high school programs? Is there turmoil in the Roseau program? What about playing with your buddies and playing for the community? Seems odd this is happening in Roseau. Who is the second player leaving Roso?...

Re: Roseau takes a hit
Dean Blais and Fargo have landed their goalie for next season. Not sure going to an expansion team is the way to go if the USHL is the option. It would seem your stock could only drop playing goalie in this situation. Playing on a losing team and losing your Roseau Alumni status all in the same mov...

I agree that Blais is an exceptional coach. I don't know how long he or Oliver coached at Roseau. It would be interesting to see the won-loss records of the last 5 coaches. It seems in the last 12-15 years they've had some coaching turnover. Blais only coached for 2 years at Roseau 90-91. Won a tit...

How can somebody say the whole town didn't want him to coach? I think his record and product on the ice speaks for itself. My guess he has the best winning percentage of anyone who has coached at Roseau. Might want to match it against Blais's tenure, but may still be better... I have nothing agains...

Re: Warroad fan on Aaron Ness
I am from Warroad and obviously have the Warroad - Roseau rivalry in my blood. Given the competitive nature of the rivalry it is often times difficult to give credit to Roseau or Roseau players even though credit is due. However, the skill and ability of Aaron Ness rises so far above the pettiness ...

I'm looking forward to this match up. I was at the game on Baudette Bay where the brutal conditions took both teams off their game. Roseau should prevail, but this is the state tourney and anything can and does happen! I'm always a bit of a pessimist, since I grew up in the 1960's and would see my ...

Mike I believe is the best goalie in the state, and one of the best quarterbacks that i have seen also, this kid is an amazing athelete. Does anyone believe he is could be a Mr. Hockey in 2008-09 ? Impossible. Goalies can't win the Mr. Hockey Award. I don't know the rules for goalies and Mr. Hockey...

His face sure does look like that of a meth-head. Hagemo was busted with heroin and syringes! Pick your poison I guess. Meth or Heroin.... Unfortunate for a young man that is only 21. Hopefully he can turn his life around. It's prolly a blessing he was arrested. I don't think he would live much long...

Ness is definitely the most polished defensemen and is the states best player. But take time to give Dano Jacques credit as he as also proved he can play big games. In last years State Tournament Dano shined and as I said in a earlier post he is so unselfish and all about team and team success. Id ...

I know all about Ness and have heard nothing but good things about him but I think you guys need to watch Jake Gardiner from Minnetonka play hockey. He is an amazing player that is going to wisconsin. And he is projected to go 22nd overall in the 2008 NHL draft where Ness is suppossed to be a 5th o...

The JASON STADSTAD MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT
A solid third period and a Ness hattrick lead Roseau to a 7-2 Win. Will Reb Riber or Bluumingdon Jebberson give the Rams a scare? The last thread got locked pretty fast. What is the chance this will last ?
