If LF plays the way they did today...it'll be St. Cloud Cathedral coming out on top. I wouldn't be surprised because they gave up in the 3rd period against Breck.

i've said it before these match ups came up and i'll say it again: Virginia is going to be a huge adversary in the first round. I think LF has what it takes to beat them but they need to play clean, consistent hockey for 51 minutes.

The rest will take care of itself.

The way this Class A tournament is shaping up, the rankings don't really matter in some cases as there are 5-6 teams that are capable to win the whole thing. I wouldn't want to play Virginia or Warroad in the first round. Whomever gets 3A or 1A in the first round gets off easier. 1. STA 2. LF 3. SCC...

Hemmingway played very well. A lot of LF's shots were from the perimeter and the point which points to a good job by the Cardinal's defensive corps.

It's too bad that one of these two teams missed out on the state tournament. This was a very good game by both teams.
