after a team has a seven goal lead. no more points or goals can be counted. score as many as you want but they wont be counted Puleeze... 6 goal lead in 3rd works 99% of time. The other 1% is just the part of life you learn to live with. agreed, there is nothing more embarrising than not counting g...

I remember Hill beating St. Paul Central 21 to 0 [ back when they were in the city conference. They won state that year. [1983 I think] Gives the central guys something to tell people about. How bout Moorhead over Monticello 27-0... 27-0? When was this? 2004 I believe, same year Warroad embarrassed...

Lee should still be there in the net.Nostalgic Nerd wrote:If Lee and Ness are committed, does Roseau have a strong underclassmen core?
Landman, Oliver, Knockenmous they still got some firepower. they will have defensive problems though. Top 10 team maybe a darkhorse in the tourney but not a favorite

Phillipi was the MVP without a doubt. He stood on his head two straight nights after getting a bye in the first game. Congratulations! true, but he didn't really have a bye the first night. his team didn't play all that well and Lakeville had a fair number of opportunities to comeback, which Philli...

With Blaine outshooting Roseau by at least 10 shots, I am going to say that there is hope for Hill to pull this one off. Did you not notice that they were mostly just desperation shots?? throw the puck at the net from any angle and maybe a couple will go in. That was their only chance. The Rams how...

if it gets there, I will agree that Edina will give them a run for their money. However, I don't think HM will. After watching their game last night right after the Roseau show, it was like watching night and day. HM seemed much slower, had sloppy play, and lucky for them their opponents played the ...

I was very impressed with this very underratted Lakeville team. They held with a very good Hill Murray team throughout the game. Each team was playing the body well, moving the puck equally as well (in respects to one another), and had some phenomenal scoring chances. The main difference was Hill-Mu...

If Roseau can score 3 goals in a game I don't think anyone can beat them. Correct. No one is going to put four biscuits past Mike Lee. After 28 games, only two teams have scored even three goals against Lee. Six games with two goals against, seven games with only one goal against, and all the rest ...

Hard work can beat skill anyday, (see also section 7AA semifinals, and section 7AA finals) (see also Edina vs. GR 1st round state tourney 2007). Need I say more. If the Jacks come to town with all their momentum Edina will have big troubles with them. I say 1-2 goal game maybe OT could go either way.

#2 Edina vs. Cloquet (as much as I would like to see an Edina/Roseau final, nothing would be better than seeing the north beat up on the cake...
