Brett Bruneteau (UND Soph.) has graduated in two years and is transferring to Vermont to play with his younger brother. He will most likely find a lot more playing time as well. He will not have to sit out a year. He only played four games this past season. Mike Cichy (UND Soph.) is also transferrin...

"Like his older brother Brady, Wisconsin’s Jordy Murray is leaving school early to play pro hockey in Switzerland. The announcement, which has been expected since last week, came this afternoon from Wisconsin. The former Shattuck-St. Mary’s standout finished second on the team in goals with 18 last ...

Who are some other recruits that will be attending college next year that will be productive right off the start and be helpful to their teams? The Sioux are getting three big-time recruits next season. Rocco Grimaldi is just 5-6, but he's a terrific skater and passer. He's been all over the stat s...

Great timing, as it appears East Grand Forks is on the cusp of a huge run. I'm seeing multiple players of theirs on almost every all star roster. Are they becoming Hermantown of the west? What has EGF done to be grouped in with Hermantown? Let's be serious. They've been in the section final once si...

For you Sioux fans out there...Kristo, Dell and Blood have all announced they're coming back next season. Corban Knight is also a lock to return. Big news for Sioux fans. The last big question mark is Jason Gregoire. I'd say it's 50/50 for Gregs. If he were to leave he could very easily find ice ti...

Great player, can't believe Pit would let him go for not much in return. Not much in return? Niskanen/Neal 55 points. Goligoski 46 points. Niskanen is a little younger and they obviously feel he can live up to the offensive potential. Good trade for both teams, but it wasn't enough for Dallas ...

Nope, not at all. Michigan just pulled an amazing upset. A treat to watch. No I did not think Michigan would win. I didn't really want them to either. Wow. Michigan was badly outplayed, but pulled it off. Amazing. UND had no scoring touch tonight.

A Michigan/Duluth final is now on deck. Go Duluth.

The Sioux didn't have their best period, but still look a little better. Brock Nelson is done for the night with a lower body injury. Hunwick came up big in the first. The 2nd should be interesting.
