he's been skating his bag off summer after summer for the last 5 years, which is more than almost any other kid can say. who are you people that say this crap? I think you're missing the point. With his talent, Tanner should be the best player on the ice every time he steps on it. He isn't all the ...

Rams, I suggest you know what you're talking about before posting. If the kid has anything, it's work ethic. Wolfpack, I would suggest you look up the meaning of "forum". It is a place to express opinions and I have mine. I really don't care if you agree with me or not. If you want anothe...

First of all i am not related or from DL, but have seen this guy play numerous times at high school and selects, I see the biggest strength he has is in his transitional play, he has to have the most explosive first three strides in hockey for some time. As for those saying he is out in the nuetral...

Re: best rivalry

HM Bantams vs AHA Bantams My point is, to be a true rivarly,(IMO) it has to start in the youth level and continue through HS. Roseau/Warroad begins in tiny-mites. Roseau/Warroad - This rivalry extends to girls sports. There isn't any rivalry that also extends to any sport like this one. They don't ...

So an elite bantam or high school player has to leave his family for who knows where to play elite hockey? Am I understanding this correctly? That kids age 13+ will leave their families to play hockey in some far away place? If true, it should be illegal. It's not only true, it's happened for many ...

Detroit Lakes Youth Hockey does two fundraisers. One is a banquet similar to a DU Banquet. It was very worthwhile from a money standpoint. The second is a raffle where we give a away a Chevy PU, ATV of some type, 2 seperate trips, a plasma TV and 25 cash prizes. It's quite a bit of work, bot for the...

I agree that Blais is an exceptional coach. I don't know how long he or Oliver coached at Roseau. It would be interesting to see the won-loss records of the last 5 coaches. It seems in the last 12-15 years they've had some coaching turnover. Blais only coached for 2 years at Roseau 90-91. Won a tit...

Edina, BSM, Tonka, HM and Roseau. Put them in any order you like.

None of these teams would be undefeated if they played a double round robin but it sure would be fun to watch.

I think he is referring to a scrimmage where Minnetonka beat Roseau, which doesn't mean jack ***t. means minnetonka is better, only doesnt mean anything in standings/stats It means Minnetonka beat Roseau in a scrimmage, nothing more, nothing less. Has no bearing on which team is better, or worse.

Re: some of mine

I feel worst for Kennedy and Wayzata. Not that they aren't in state, but that they have so little to show for the season. Both are far better than their record indicates. As for tough-luck teams that could have done damage in St. Paul, Minnetonka tops my list. They had a great season. Sometimes you...
