Re: embaressing

Thanks for the info, I look forward to seeing him next year. You made a good choice moving to Faribault, it is a nice community with very good people in the hockey program.

Re: Cheap Players

This has been some of the best hockey dialogue this youth site has ever seen, now I have to ask the question. Did this kid play bantam's last year or did he make the jump to high school? If he played bantam's, I don't even recall his name when Albert Lea played them. I don't remember any "cheap" kid...

Re: Cheap Players

WOW, too much coffee?. You are either very humble or a tad bit disillusional. If you played 9 season's in the Big Show and drank from the Cup then you were very good. There are a ton of kid's that still play the game the way you are referring to, the differance is that in today's game they have to b...

Re: Cheap Players

I don't recall any kid's from Far. that played A bantam's that were cheap and none that would have made the advanced 15's, maybe Putrah if he was age eligible. Are you sure you are talking about the same kid?

Re: Bantam A preseason rankings for next year

What about the Souperstar? You know, good team's are built around quality defense. Sorry to hear about the 2 death's recently tied in with your hockey assoc. Keep the head's up and the smiles on, it alway's helps. How about kid's that were on B bantam's last year? Many times they will jump ahead of ...

Re: do you like the way the regional brackets are set up

Weren't the team's invoved and game times based on seeding's? The better seed's always get the weaker team's and better times creating the advantage that you deem unfair.

Re: How much are the gate Fees at the Super Series this week

Agreed, both goalies for South played very well. Scoring chances were a bit lopsided but West kept getting in too tight resulting in second, third and fourth chances right on top of goalies. I thought there were some pretty nice player's on both sides, West had more balance but less player's, South ...

Re: How much are the gate Fees at the Super Series this week

$15 for a weekend pass. Already one good game in Minor PW, South beats West 4-3 in OT. 2 goals from Albert Lea boy's and 1 from a Rochester boy. Deep South looked good and some outstanding goaltending

BladeSideDown, I am sorry AL offended you with our sock's. As the coach of the team I take full responsibility. Please let me know who you are and fill me in on the unsportsmanship behavior you witnessed. I was present for all of our games and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary for bantam ag...

Re: Silver Regional

Goaltending was the key as alway's. Both Kato goalies were good, Trautman was awesome vs. Buffalo. Owatonna goalie was consistently good and low and behold, they won. Buffalo's #5 was very good but it didn't seem his linemates were ever caught up with him. #10 from Owatonna is very fast and very str...

Re: Sartell

Sartell must be doing something right. A few year's ago they were somewhat of a pillow team, now they have a PW team going to state and a bantam team that showed themselves well even though it was 2 and out. On the A Bantam side I personally thought # 5 was the best player on Buffalo's team and the ...

Re: Silver Regional

AL/Buff: AL didn't trail until 4:00 left in the 3rd, 2 quick one's for Buff and a late EN goal. Bummer for AL, good job by Buff. AL ended up killing too many penalties and didn't seem to get any bounces.

AL/Buff: Good game. AL didn't trail until 4:00 left in the 3rd. A couple quick one's for Buff and an EN goal spell's good night for AL. Pretty good game for a 4 against 1 seed.

Re: REGION TOURNAMENT PICK 'EM CONTEST!

Rochhockey4life15, you say DC is terrible because you beat them 3-0 and they lost to Eagan. Correct me if I am wrong. DC also beat Eagan a month ago (Eagan is not terrible either). DC also beat Roch., and was it 1 time or 2? If you do think they are terrible, who are you comparing them to? I think y...

Re: Best bantam B team district 4

Agreed. Look no further than Faribault. After losing some player's to HS they knew their Bantam team wouldn't be strong but give them credit, they played A level and it will show when these player's move up to HS. Luverne played A level last year and didn't do bad, why switch?
