Did anybody see the two or three Minnetonka girls that looked like they were about to flash some guys? I swear to God, after the goal just wait and you will see these girls pulling their shirts up in the student section. Nothing comes of it, so maybe they were just hot and getting some airflow, but ...

I like the three keys to the game, MNSportsRube. I would add "don't take stupid penalties" in parentheses after PK, therefore they won't have to kill any off. Jefferson cannot put any more pressure on their goalie than there already is and penalties will do this. Head to head grading: Fire...

It doesn't matter about youth years. If it did, then Chaska would be dominating (obviously they lost players, and so has Jefferson - as well as gaining key players). That's a whole other subject. Gitter, I agree with a lot of what you say. Jefferson's weakness is goaltending without a doubt. However...

What creampuff schedule? WITH their Missota games on their schedule they still have the 19th toughest schedule. Apparently you don't read too well; as I always say, the blame goes both ways. Yes, I agree they should be playing. They don't need to play those teams; they need to play Burnsville/Jeffe...

It bugs me I misspelled egad... :) U bug me!!!!! Cheap imitations of nickmons 1 & 2 bug me... Rankings that inconsistently reward the "hot" teams bug me.... I thought you're reasoning for Jefferson being too high was that they were 0-2-1 going into Sections. And now they are a "h...

Non factor, you are unaware of the truth and it does not concern you or me. Edina is still on a mission since failing the last two years. Last year with Budish they dominate. This year they beat Jefferson by 3 and the place empties out early in the third period. I have seen Jefferson now and I do n...

Re: Edina v. Jefferson - 2AA Final

Who will win? Edina had an insane amount of shots on net in the Semifinals, 52, but could only bury 3. If they get 52 shots on net against the Jags...it's over. Although followthepuck says Jefferson had 33 shots and Burnsville had 44, I'm lead to believe that they accidently switched these stats be...

Re: 2AA

Yeah and losing and tying lakeville north is such an accomplishment  The problem with Jefferson is they play down to their opponents level sometimes. Lakeville North wasn't the worst team in the world this year either, though. But still, they should have scraped them. And AHA will not win this...

Wrong. The player sits out rest of season, no penalty to team or coaches. If the player played in another game, after the high school league found out of his ineligibility, the team would have to forfeit all wins. Wrong. They banish the player for seven years from the tribe and he loses all of his ...

Semifinal Predictions
Edina 5
Holy Angels 4

Jefferson 4 (OT)
Burnsville 3

I doubt I'll be right with the exact scores but what I confident on is both games are going very exciting and the atmosphere is going to be out of control. Sometimes, I think sections is the best part of the season.

I'm going to predict a lovely 5-3 (EN) victory by the Jags. It will be 1-1 after the first period, 3-3 after the second period, and of course 5-3 after the third in favor of the blue.

That blog is one of the most annoying things I've ever read, and not because the kid is gay. He should learn correct grammar and spell his words like an adult, then I'd feel more sympathetic towards him. The way he talks, it almost seems like a joke to me.

It's simple, guys. Jefferson is a good team, but we expect too much of them. They're going to lose games this year they shouldn't because, in my opinion, a lack of coaching and a weak goalie. Also, they only have two outstanding defenseman, Faust and Pauluk. That's going to hurt them. With that bein...

Toptitty, it was only disappointing because they lost. I agree though, they played pretty well. But if they wouldn't have been in the box so much then they would have won. I also wanted to add that at the last meeting between these two, the Jefferson student section was very into the game. Loud, chants...all that good stuff, but I really had to laugh when they did the "Public Schools" chant! I assume they thought Centennial is a private school. There were H...
