Agreed
Yes, completely moronic. Let the teams decide the winner, not a skills competition.
Who was moronic? The vikings, stringer or lack of skills? this eventually comes down to the same issue.

MSHL should follow olympic/NHL example and get rid of ridiculous OT standard. One OT and then go to a shoot out. 4, 5, 6 7 Ot's is just stupid. You can fix stupid. 8) Having an elimination game decided by a shootout is the worst idea I've ever heard. It is good enough for the olympics and the NHL. ...

The key to this game is if Hill can jump out to an early lead & whether or not the Lakeville kids skate with their breezers full. Hill knows what it's like to play at the X and be out in front of 16,000 people & this will all be new to Lakeville. Which ever team gets the handle of the situa...

Re: geog minor, avid map reader

Ellie, put the pins in a map and count until you get to 8 or 9 teams. You'll wind up crawling further south for VII and VIII because there just aren't enough large enrollment schools plus opt-ups. Nearly perfect geographic sense, and I'll stand by that statement. Map it. The problem is solved if Ro...

Re: Lee

I say Lee is hands down the best there at state. My question is has anyone ever started off a highschool career with the stats Lee has put up? No matter how good a team is in front of you at some point you see solid shots on net and time and time again he has showed hes worth being #1. Should he wi...

Blaine has the best chance of anyone in this bracket to knock off Roseau. I think rams win by 2 or 3 though on good ice and conditions. Who knows though - anything can happen at the X. :?

I think Centennial would have matched up very well against Roseau, but they got poor goaltending in the finals and Blaine deserves to be there. Roseau should have no problem getting to the title game. In that game who knows what will happen. Blaine will be their toughest challenge to get to the tit...

First post ever directly from the building 63 steps from Memorial! They have dial up. After a mafia meeting we decided the seeds are- 1. Roseau- undefeated 2. BSM - they beat Edina and Shattuck 3. Edina - they lost to BSM, but still pretty good 4. Blaine- the only city team willing to accept Roseau...

Re: good feedback

Roseau is the #1 seed. That isn't up for discussion. Sorry if that offends those favoring someone else. They'll be seeded #1. As mentioned, #2 = #3 since there is random draw for their opponents and they'd meet in the Semis if they both win. Edina is most likely #2. Both Edina and Benilde split wit...

Rams 5 Spuds 0. The shut out though the play-offs will continue. Four more shut outs before the end of March for Lee would be nice. It will take a lot of great luck and focus to make that happen. Possible but not very likely. If Rams do shutout Moorhead and score big, then Rams certainly deserve #1...
