Bearhockey, for the most part I agree with you. Blake's situation seems forgiveable, since it was a MN HOCKEY rule ('though one has to question why a parent pulls his/her kid from the community association to put them on a private school "B" team), but Wayzata's stacked teams seem to be designed to...

Interesting thread. Here are my two cents: 1. It is my understanding (as the last poster stated) that Minnesota Hockey would not allow Blake to play at the A level. I think that STA and Minnehaha faced the same restriction (whether they would have wanted to play up or not is a different question). ...

From D2 playoffs... I have no clue "what your talkin about" By the way, you appear to know who I am, in essence I am not a player or a parent, and have no ties to any team, except a friend or 2. No, I don't appear to know who you are. But if your a friend of any family on BA or BB1 Black ...

first of all yes wb lost 4 good players but the rest of the team has quite a bit of talent. They arent a team the will blow out another team but they also arent a team to get blown out. you have to give credit to the team and coaches, they really stuck together during this season and are playing fa...

From D2 playoffs... WBL Black 4 Roseville 3 WBL Orange 4 Stillwater 2 Both WBL teams will gain a seed in Regions It's a very good assumption that Stillwater will come through the back door and meet up with whomever loses the Championship game of Black vs Orange (on Saturday @ 10:15am) for the other...

D-2 is heating up. Stillwater 10-2-2 12 Happy points for 33 total 2 games remaining WBBL 9-1-3 12 Happy points for 33 total 3 games remaining WBOR 10-1-2 10 Happy points for 32 total 3 games remaining Should be interesting. No team can loose 1 now, even a tie would change the seedings. Update WBOR ...

In D6 if there is a tie in regulation, and there is time on the hour clock, (75min for BB1) they play however much time is left. I think there has to be at least 3 min left.???? this is how it should be, nobody running away with the division, First and last will be decided on the last day of the se...

Re: Top ten Pewee B1 teams
What teams do u think are in the top ten. id say edina, stillwater, wyzeta, proctor, burnzwille, white bear, woodbury, maybe duluth east, and edina I'll add moneytonka, moorhead (they beat WB 2-0), and duluth lakers (they beat east). Take out Wayzata Blue (they feel they have to stack there team to ...

I wish District 3 also had the same equal B team rule. I am from Wayzata and I also don't like the B1-1 vs B1-2 split. My son and his teammates while winning a lot and having great coaching would be better served (an have more fun) if the games they played were closer on a more consistent basis. It...

white bear lake orange- 2 white bear lake black----2 This was a great game, although once again WBBL out shot WBO almost 3 to 1. Again... Same thing that happened in the first match up. WBBL is 3 lines deep, with good goal tending, WBO is 2 1/2 guys deep, with good goal tending. The problem is even...

Good coaches are good teachers, we are very fortunate in WBL to have NON PARENT Coaches from the A & B Bantams, Pee wees and A squirts, all of our coaches are phi nominal teachers, and great with the kids. There object is not to win every game, but to devolope the kids for play off time, if they are...

Re: Rankings
Bear13 - I think you are on to someting - what I see is that teams can't really differentiate themselves from week to week, and are inconsistent. The only consistent team is Wayzata Blue. I would say that Blake, while clearly good, isn't much different from some of the others in group 3, but won't ...

I'm starting to think that most of the posts dissing Woodbury's B1 teams (both Blue and Black (aka White) are posts from Woodbury coaches or parents trying to mount a disinformation campaign to keep other teams off guard. Make no mistake: Woodbury has two or three very good Bantam teams, and some v...

I think this is a perfect way to look at the B1 level. There are a ton of talented teams this year. I agree Eagan is underrated and I'd add Woodbury White to the mix. They are very good but are trying to keep a low profile so that they can sneak up on teams. I think they have only a few losses on t...

You could go any way with any of the 3's and 4's, other than the 2 stacked teams, any game could go any way, we could critique all of the ratings on who is who, but the bottom line is that the #3's &4's are so close it is sick. Apple Valley has beat some good teams, But since the 1st of the month th...

I just have to comment on a couple things...1: This has nothing to do with rankings but champlin park dropped out of the Mora tournament cuz they didnt want to play outside in the cold. yes the temps were about -10 but come on...get tough....2: MPLS park beat Woodbury blue 4-1 how is it that woodbu...

Re: B-1 Top 10
This looks pretty accurate to me, though I'd probably put Champlin Park in with the 3's. Also, I thought that Centennial DID stack their teams. Is that not true? I know D3 allows it, and I thought D10 and a few others did as well.[/quote] I am not sure about Centennial, although I think your right, ...
