Question: Why doesn't the Elite leagues invite the Minnesota Blades to compete in the Elite 1 and the Elite Development leagues? IMO, it makes sense to give more MN kids some exposure versus the Colorado Rampage. That would be too much of an ego blow to Russo to admit there might be something else ...

The Elite League was only able to fend off the early exits for so long. The dilution in that league will only get worse now considering the financial condition it is in too.

Not sure what train u just stepped off but there was no one in the coaching ranks that said BSM wouldn't win this year. After the elite league it was consensus they would (and should) win their section as the other schools couldn't keep up recruiting wise Note that I was responding to another poste...

While I'm sure there is a better way, no system would be perfect. In 2011 the 3rd leading scorer in the league never got to the National development camp as a junior the same year. Nothing against either coach as I'm sure they are great coaches and great people. MSHSL stresses it's not about winning to the HS coaches but then time after time they give the coach of the year award to the coaches that have great success in the win lose catagory. The MSHSL doesn't give this award...
