Prep Schools
Just a piece of info...

Prep schools refers to schools like Philips Exeter, Philips Andover and yes, Shattuck (although obviously, Shattuck is not out East). MSC is a high school.

On the matter of AHA vs. MSC this year, AHA will probably "mop up", but MSC is not a prep school.

<...

Another "Schroeder" of the past
In Peewees, Casey Parenteau set a minnesota record for points I believe. He was considered the best player at his age. I believe he played 2 years of bantams and continued to dominate. He then played a year at Breck as a sophomore and had a very good year.

Then he moved onto the "higher level...

move up?
I don't think the winner moves up or Breck would be in the Gold Division this year. I think it's entirely up to the tournament director on which teams should be in which bracket.

If we are on this topic, Minnetonka's team last year (if everyone had stayed) would be way better than Anoka's team this year.

The Anoka guys really aren't amazing players anyhow.

Re: NHL Central Scouting (Players to Watch)
I am kind of confused why central scouting would put inderieden as a 'B' Player when McKeens Hockey, which is a respected scouting site, projected him as the number 32 overall pick.

mckeensho...

Without a doubt the top single A player? I hope you are joking. Maybe by his junior or senior year, he will be within the top few, but right now he isn't even close.

I agree, Mueller's "hometown" program would be Chaska in my opinion, because he just moved to Bloomington for hockey.

Re: FULTON AT UMD
First of all, there was pressure on Wheeler to leave Breck for juniors in his senior year by the Phoenix Coyotes (who made Wheeler the 5th overall pick). I agree, it probably was a smart move. It probably got him more used to the physica...

W900-
Are you referring to "those 2" as the fulton brothers? Because, in my opinion, they are completely different players.

I too am confused about why TG is so high. They lost a lot of talent last year including both goalies. I believe Breck graduated 2 important d, kettelkamp and broderson.

They return Drake Herd, a senior, who will have a very good season this year, Karl Hylle, another senior, and jon aho, a junior. Re: Blake Bears
One new player they have is JOsh Birkholz, younger brother of Andrew Birkholz, who graduated from Breck last year. Josh is going to be a very good player and he will have a decent impact this year, but a major impact in the future.

I don't mean to bash Mahtomedi, but I highly doubt they will win it.

Blake returns a lot of players and are probably the favorite right now.

Next is tought to decide between Totino, Breck, and SLP. Back on Parenteau...
He didn't leave Breck because he didn't like it, he left because he made a USHL team and wanted to move on to the next level. I don't think that he would be a star at a D1 school right now if he had chosen to stay at Breck...or to stay at WBL from the beginning.

His problem was that he peaked...
