Will take a lot of puck luck for the Warriors to have a sniff in this one.

i don't know when the meeting is but common sense is the teams would not be seeded before a section game. I'm sure every section seeding meeting does not have to be at exactly the same time.

Section 8a--The EGF/TRF game. Do you really think it would be played after the seeding?

TRF 3 Roseau 0
Did not see game but my brother said it looks like
if TRF can keep the puck to the outside and allows
their goalie to see the puck it will be tough to get
it by him.

I really respect Roseau's program. I played them growing up all my life, and watched them win the state tournament in AA my senior year. With an enrollment of 374 they are half the size of most A schools and would be at the state tournament every single year if they opted to move down. STA should h...

EGF 5 Warroad 1

Hats off to EGF for doing the hard work through the youth levels instead of taking the easy way out. Playing for a MINNESOTA Section Championship with Minnesota/EGF kids is doing things the right way.

So than you are saying the blow to the head came from the ice? He was knocked out cold and has a concussion. He got out of the hospital at 2Am.

I am talking about numbers on the high profile teams and also youth hockey for the past several years when matched up with the Section A teams they compete with at the high school level. My point is they should be dominating. Maybe sometimes its a matter of having too many numbers.

Thats because of the team that plays in front of him. There is no team in this section that should keep the game out of running time if you look at how they have dominated youth hockey, select rosters, fall elite rosters, etc....

Had way more skill? To my knowledge only one kid played higher than a D3 level. As far as depth it was hard to tell because 3rd line deserved more ice time.

The EGF team reminds me of the 06' TRF team. A very skilled team but very shaky goaltending.

I have been out of the area for awhile. Can someone that knows this program tell me exactly how many kids that play (goalie, 2 lines and 4 D on a girls team) are recruits I hear it is a joke.

Exactly how many are from Warroad? As far as the regular season games----who cares. Its all about who shows up and wins in the playoffs.

This happens at seeding meetings all the time. Finally some teams in this section with a breath of hope. My moneys still on Rams-Spuds. Is it at the Baby Ralph again up in TRF?

Thats a great point about kids moving in rather than out. I just like to see the same rules for the star player as the 4th liner. I understand its tough because there is pressure for the team to do well but I think in the long run its better for the team and the individual if all is treated the same...

What would you call it when 2 kids get into trouble for exactly the same thing before a game, one gets tossed out of the arena and the other stays and plays the whole game. Hockey is just a game. Every kid moves on somewhere in life and that is what the mentality should be not just about 2 or 3 kids...
