Re: North Suburban Conference

I think the North Suburban will be an interesting conference to watch this year. St Louis Park & BSM share a rink together so there will be a natural rivalry there. Park & Cooper have been in a conference together for a long time so they know each other. I'm sure other good rivalries will em...

Section 5A

I saw that Mpls North was added to Section 5A Boys Hockey. Do they have a team? Again, The MSHSL had a chance to break up that section and sprinkle some of it's teams over to the cream-puff Sections 3A or 6A. But, instead choose to keep Totino, Blake, Breck, St Louis Park, Mahtomedi all together. Ye...

It will be fun when Shea and Drew get to play the "Minnesota Team of the South," Santa Fe, on Friday March 18th. The Roadrunners have eleven Minnesota players on their roster and are fighting Wichita Falls for playoff position (currently SF is 3rd and WF 4th). So far the teams have split t...

Re: elk river/tartan

Great game! Congrats to Tartan. They went toe-to-toe with the Elks and got a solid goal in the last 2 minutes to get the win. Give Elk River credit for a great effort. There should be no dispute on the winning goal. It was a great play by Tartan. Friday's semi-finals for both A and AA should be grea...

The Orange team from Sections 5AA/5A won the Ted Brill Great 8 Tournament today with a 2-1 Overtime victory over 7AA/7A. Re: Great Game!

One of the funnest games to watch ever. Alex Stalock was unbelieveable. Good to see his brother Nick get the game tying goal. You hate to see the game decided by a fluke goal like that but that's hockey. I feel fro that poor SSP defenseman that unwittingly put it in. Great Great Game!
