7 of the 22 guys on the 2010 Olympic team played for the USNTDP. It has been around long enough (since 1996) that if they really were producing the best players the numbers should be better. Rafalski and Tim Thomas are older than the USNTDP prgram window but would have never been invited anyway. Bot...

Most of the AHL teams make money too. I believe Bridgeport missed the playoffs by one spot the year he was brought in. If Kyle would have had enough to push them into the playoffs and get them a couple more home games he for sure makes them money even in the A. Did he put extra butts in the stands t...

From Schlossman- You will probably hear athletic directors use the “like-minded schools” line at Wednesday’s press conference in discussing why this new league is happening. While administrators may not expand on that line, a source told the Herald that when business was conducted in the Western Col...

There are 30 teams in the NHL and with the 30th pick in the 2nd round MN makes a move up? 29 teams pass on him with their 2nd rd pick but MN who had the luxury of 2 1st round picks takes a chance on him. Good move a risk they could take. I am not saying he is not deserving of it at all but had he b...

This is the NCAA's. Teams are moved around, in this case BC, based on the criteria in place. His seedings are correct

Nuff said. Yeah, Class A teams led by the likes of TJ Oshie, Brock Nelson, Blake Wheeler, Jordan Schroeder,...

Lou's exceptionally knowledgeable and sees the little things that make watching the game with him interesting. Don't bother looking at the pairwise. Minnesota can actually get all 8 points the next two weeks and fall in the rankings. This team has only one shot of advancing and that is winning the Final Five. Getting all 8 points will help them in not only the rankings but also the WCHA standings. They need...

The kid can play between the pipes. Bottom line is he stops the puck! Any coach would love to have a tender do just that! I am not sure about Lyon's stats. Two games show 0 shots on goal. I suppose at the last minute they will 'fix' that and thus secure his lead in save %............. That has got ...
