This past monday the D8 associations voted to drop their JGB league and move into the Metro Hockey League. The motion passed. This move was backed by all the Jr Gold B coaches in D8. It's funny when programs like Edina & Wayzata and this year Elk River put 2 teams in State and no one complains. But the RAVE who only had 20 kids at tryouts and they should play A!!!

The league has rules and both players will sit a game. But a few kids do dumb stuff and Rosemount & Lakeville teams look bad.

16 & younger after July 1 1993 for U16
But it could be your association choice to put 16 & younger players on U16 team

I would like to thank Scott Orrey family for making this All Star game happen, you do a lot for the D8 Jr Gold players. To all the seniors good luck in the future. I hope to see all the coaches again next season. Congrats to Lakeville 2009 State Champs. That's 3 years in a row for D8!!!
