Re: Poor Jack Gravel?

Puckmaniac hit it on the head. Moundsview just hired their assistant from last season and the AD introduced him to the players. As they were walking out a handful of them were already complaining. Their parents were pushing for a coach that said he was here for a year and he was going to Michigan th...

Re: Benilde High School Coaching

Certain parents on the 3rd or 4th line w/money is the rumor. Who would want to coach in that situation? It is sad, as Jack was a good coach.. 80-20-5 give or take a game or two. When will adminstrations stand up and be counted on. Benilde's story is one of a long list of parents with to much control...

Re: St. Olaf opens again

Not sure..
Four coaches in four years would be a concern though. Seems to be in 3rd or 4th place over that time. I know Oseicki was told that they were going to build a rink that never was built. So facilities may be an issue? Recruiting must be tough with their standards and cost also.

<i...

Irondale won't give up their identity ( Irondale Knights ) to be called Quad City or something to that effect.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... >husky5 at: 3/30/06 10:24 am

Re: 2006 EP One of the Best Ever???

Eden Praire is excellent team and a team to be reckoned with for the next few years. That said I believe that some of their counterparts from the past could've and would of beaten them more ties than not. When Roseville came in in 94-95 with Winny Brodt and the Curtin's they were a very deep team. T...

GHS,

Unless Luverne walloped someone earlier ( I doubt it) it is wrong. Never stop playing either. 3 or 4 passes for a shot. If you are that much better than your oppenent you can do it. Stir the Mix,

HS Coaches need to have Coaching licensure from a college that covers a 1 semester course on hockey, First Aid and a couple of more classes to obtain that licensure. They don't need USA hockey to tell them to coach. I'm sure though the more knowledge they acquire the better the...

Re: Team USA Comes To Town

Wendell & Darwitz are freaks of nature. I don't see anyone like them in HS now. Sheer domination, speed, rink awareness, great shots, great stickhandlers, classy kids. Hope I'm wrong and someone breaks onto the scene soon, but they were the total package, both.
