Not true. Left the job strictly due to a promotion in her job / professional career that will consume her time.

I watched/listened to the press conference and am left wondering, what did he say that some people find so objectionable? I did not see the TV interview so maybe that's where "he had some choice words to say" that were offensive to some. Ditto. Thread should be titled "Can Anyone Whine About Warroa...

The overall, and continued increase in both depth of talent and pure hockey skill was quite evident to me as I watched the 2013 State Tournament.

I thought so too. I think Red Wing and Blake should be a good semi.

A top 10 ranking in AA, #8, in Minnesota, with the level of competition in the metro...doesn't really merit disappointment per the current season in my view. The coach as causal theory is dead wrong in my opinion. Honestly, seems they've made strides and are headed in the right direction to me. Also...

Division I Commitments 2013-2014

Didn't see it noted previously...the Stillwater Ponies Sara Bustad has committed to the Minnesota State Mankato Mavericks. Sara will play D for the Mavs. Ponies in the WCHA...I like!

After watching the two USA v Canada U18 games I would have to agree. Miss Menke has looked very good in each.

I'm more than a little doubtful we'll see any carry over of this strategy employed in a high school championship final going forward to her college career. There's virtually no opportunity for coasting in the college game...in order to extend overall playing time. In division I even the very top D, ...

Talented players advancing from high school to college, or college players advancing to a National Team require no further development? I don't know about that one.

Developing increased strength from one level to the next is almost always required by all. Just as one example.

I'd have a hard time finding fault with it since they won the title and she was fairly instrumental in that result. Can't say I'd be surprised if someone has a problem with it...in this forum. Hoping the comments stay positive and of a non derogatory nature towards coach and player.

Don't know if it has been mentioned, but if I recall back in the days the tournament was played at Ridder there were a lot of complaints and general cries of "foul" from division I programs (other than Minnesota) and from WCHA teams in particular that the tournament on the U campus amounted to an un...

Was there actually a measure of disrespect directed at Roseville through the section playoff...or the season as a whole? Would moving back to Ridder generate another lawsuit? I have a feeling it might. Does anyone think that previous lawsuit had anything to do with the move? I tend to think it did influence the MSHSL some.

If the girls played varsity football you'd probably have a lawsuit demanding that very thing.

Agree that moving the State Tournament to an Olympic sheet not the best plan.

Final score according to the Pioneer Press website: Minnetonka 4 , Roseville 0 Assuming this is true, it's pretty obvious that the loss of Stecklein and Flug really hurt the Raiders, as did Hill-Murray missing Brandt and SSP missing LaShomb. Sure would have been nice if all teams would have been at...
