While I'm very hopeful that Justin succeeds at the next level I think how he got to where he is is a testimony to his will and competitiveness. As a first year bantam he watched almost half the team leave for St. Thomas and the Fire. He stayed and struggled through a tough year, but with the help o...

Past State Tourney Results
Does anyone know if there's still a place on the web to look up game results from past years youth state tourneys?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Lets all argue this till the cats come home.. Yes, all the voodoo and bad karma will be on Lakeville if it makes you feel better. LS was not trying to run the score up bottom line and anyone who was at the game could see that. No, they didn't bench their top players and some may argue they should o...

They only way they win state as one school is if Skeji, Arentz, Lindgren, Osterberg, Kloos, Harvey, etc, stay. RickyTicky, that is irrelevant though as it can't happen. You all are going waaaaayyyyyy overboard here. I simply stated LS goes nowhere without Kloos and also believe that other than Harv...

Re: Goalie Pad Rule for 09-10 Season
Is the 12 inch pad rule in affect this coming season (09-10) or the 10-11 season? Thank you! My understanding is that as of January 1, 2010, you cannot play USA Hockey with a 12" pad. Too bad USA Hockey didn't make it to the end of the season. May cause some players to have to switch pads mid-...

Goalie Equipment Regs. - Enforcement?
As I understand it, goalie pad width will be enforced next year at the association levels (11" not 12") - right?
What about the catching glove? Does the 45" circumfrence max. apply? or is 48" okay? Do we anticipate enforcement? What about at HS level?
Thanks.

Apple Valley 4 (2 OT) Eagan 3 The refs were terrible. There was three hits that should have been called checking from behind or a board. One player on AV was taken off in a stretcher from one of these hits, and another player on AV didn't play the rest of the game after he got hit. These refs shoul...

Looks like Roseau really screwed this tournament up. Lakeville South should have been playing in championship vs Fire instead they played on saturday to avoid eagan and fire playing back to back. Now Eagan is playing Fire for championship and Lakeville south is playing stonewall for 3rd. I hope the...

The first post in this thread is laughable and barely worthy of response, but... All due respect to SWPrez (I know him and have a lot...) He does a good job of defending the hard-working, well-meaning, board-members who (no doubt) represent the vast majority of the people who hold those positions - ...

This one is worth re-posting... My association went through this situation 4 - 5 years ago at the peewee/bantam level. A group of last year PW's and bantams went to play for a AAA team during winter. They were not happy with the development opportunities being offered by the association at the time....
