the only rankings i care about are the 8 teams still standing in march. other than that i don't get my rocks off on rankings like a few on this site. i mean really...who cares and what does it matter? Well, there have been 26 responses to Karl's AA ratings this week, with over 4,000 views. It's pre...

The only problem I see so far is that I don't think that class 'A' should be less then half of 'AA'. Sure, teams can opt up but there is no way you can say Warroad is a lesser program because they don't opt up. We all know they could make the 'AA' tourney quite often, but it would come down to them...

Warroad 4 Roseau 1 final I guess being AA doesn't automatically make you better Wow! I must say I was a bit shocked to see the score. I didn't expect it, since Warroad seems to be a bit down this year--more so than Roseau, I thought. Good thing I was too busy to listen to the game last night... The...

Re: Hornets/Rams
While I think it would be extremely hilarious for Edina to lose in the quarterfinals against a Section 8 team for the 2nd year in a row that they were supposedly "heavily favored" to beat (according to some), I have to think Giles will have his team more than ready and motivated so histor...

The only high school sport that I felt creepy watching was girls volleyball. I coached the girls team at my school for several years, so I used to go watch the better high schools play to get ideas for improving my squad. Basically, in the stands were (1) parents of players, (2) boyfriends (just a ...

Re: Roseau Rams
Earlier this afternoon, I posted some video and such about Roseau's victory over Moorhead...thoughts from Andy Lundbohm and Shane Omdahl included... http://www.mnhockeyhub.com/page/show/151221-roseau-vs-moorhead It would be nice to be able to see your video. I signed up for access, but it still doe...

But its not only about who is a better pro prospect. Aaron Ness won the award over Jake Gardiner but Gardiner was the better prospect. Its not just NHL scouts that vote. Its also people in the media who argue that a class A hockey team is no better than a class AA jv team. Warroad is as good as any...

What are you talking about??? I have no idea who you are referring to but I can assure you that's not me. I didn't have to eat my name last season when Roseau got the crap kicked out of them at the state tournament showing just how overrated they were. What is your problem with Roseau? As most peop...

State tourmament what a joke, at least 6 of the best teams are not even there. The north and south only provided one team worthy of being there. Burnsville, Chaska are not there, what a shame, I hope this makes every one ouside of the metro area really happy. Well, well, well... Do we have to go th...

Let me add: Roseau, Wayzata, Edina, EP, Roseau, Wayzata, Edina, EP, Roseau. Dog, I will be excited to see how the Roseau team does this year...lot of returners and great team two years ago in squirts. Is the ice out on the lakes up dare yet? I think the Bear has the right list. The Roseau kids do s...

GASP! When did you move to the cities bobber? I look at Cade Fairchild and all the hype he had at Duluth East and Ann Arbor and I feel that he had an average year at the "U" at best. He played for the Nation's top team as far as development goes for two years. Ness played at Rosea...

I am stunned and sad. It can't be true. Tell me it isn't. I'm stunned because Mike will skip playing baseball and football--he loved playing both--and, he will be giving up on a great senior-year experience. For what? I am not convinced that he will develop better at Fargo. (Blaise is a great coach,...

Would you say that roso's future looks brighter? After getting completly outclassed by the cities teams this year? I would say the futue of hockey in Roseau looks very bright. Rinks full of kids of all ages dreaming of a chance to compete at the X for there community. After all isn't that what it's...
