Re: NHL Central Scouting Final Rankings

Superstar touting his nephew in his 1st post in years - Miss those posts touting the EP/HF Goalie While some say Lacombe "didn't give up", he did. Got cut, quit, and Dad found another place to play. He's the next Bellows- at best Anything wrong with touting the Nephew? I think not. He certainly des...

Re: NHL Central Scouting Final Rankings

One of the highlights in this category is the rise of LaCombe. From NO ONE’s radar a couple years ago to being on the edge of the 1st round. Late bloomer who grew up in EP, moved and played AAA out in Los Angeles then to Shattuck for his Bantam and High School career. Growing 7/8 inches and 40lbs Si...

Re: Sorry I disagree.

I can count on very few fingers how many times officials have truly had a final impact on a game. The EP/HF game was one of those. Not to bash but it was just puzzling. The first coincidental penalty the EP shoved HF mask up over his nose and the HF didn't even react except for skating back to the ...

Superstar's argument lost all credibility when he tried to say the people in the box mess up the shots because they think goals are shots..... [-X I lose credibility..??? Talk a walk man. SOG are very inaccruate at alot of levels. A Goal scored is NOT a SOG - Hitting Pipes, Wide shots, over the net...

It hit the stick of the EP player first - Then the shot, then the rebound goal... The Family got compeletly robbed. And EP should have had atleast 3 more penalities in the the 3rd. The most obvious one was the too many men on the ICE and High sticking, checking from behind... I have never said this...

Agree Superstar. It appeared its if the take was on. The too many men on ice that wasn't called was almost as embarrassing as the embellishment call on Family that would have given them a 5 on 3. The family player gets tripped and he falls and they call embellishment. Wow! The check from behind tha...

Edina wins 4-3 in OT shots ended 37-18 for EP. The 3rd was mostly all EP, but they didn't really have many good chances. It was just that edina had 1 shot through 14 minutes of the period. It seemed like Edina was trying to hold onto the 3-2 win, and it looked like they might do it. For EP having 3...

5. Eden Prairie (15-5-1) -The Eagles had an ugly week with losses to Edina and Wayzata, and seem to be fading back into the pack. The defense has been mediocre, and the line juggling continues up front; it’s getting very late in the season to seem so unsettled. Putting Mittelstadt and Graham on the ...

1 to 0 in favor of Edina. Goal followed a spectacular wraparound assist by Malmquist junior. SOGS 14 to 11 Hornets. Boe and DeGrood both look capable. Almquist has had some good opportunities for the Fire. The four Edina Super 99s have been pretty quiet. As I watched that wrap around...It was far f...

Good for him, but this probably belongs on a different board. There are a LOT of former undrafted and/or free agent Minnesotans invited to NHL training camps. If we're okay with news like this on the HS board, I request that we keep it to just one thread. Could the mods change the name of the threa...
