AFP, both teams (sioux and gophers) have taken stabs at some players and have been bitten... You could easily say the same for most other schools. Fienage has not done much in his collegiate career. Casto was a great find but not everyone makes a HUGE impact their first year on campus. I agree, Jr's...

Bjug has 2 games, 0 points with not many great chances. Fashing has 1 goal (albeit an empty netter) with some great chances... The eye roll must have come from someone not watching the game last night. If you failed to get in front of the TV or make it to the X I would not expect you to know what I ...

I am going to disagree with the "haters" about Bjug. He played almost every shift from 5 minutes left in the second thru the game. I am sure he was tired and I am betting he hasnt been checked that closely, hit that often and basically taken out of the game nearly as much as last night. Gi...

I also believe that it has become more of a "social hour" for some of these schools. I remember being a middle schooler or freshmen and we would get rowdy and crowd surf or chant some nasty things at our rivals (AV and Rosemount for EV). Now I look into the student sections and there are g...
Bjugstad was not outmatched by sophomore defenseman, his team just relies on him alone too much, he didn't have a whole lot to work with today. I thought both goalies played great, Apple Valley definitely had the momentum.
I believe AV has 2 Dmen that are ...

Heart says AV 2-1, head says Edina 3-1 (EN)... Gretz can frustrate a team all he wants but you gotta be able to score. Fashing, Michaelson, Fisher.... its time to put those chances away if you want to move on... Edina is much deeper than Blaine, much bigger and stronger and has much better D. Prove ...

Quite a few. I am actually in Eagan now. Went to school up at BSU for 5 years... Thats a side note. Fashing is a stud, has been a stud all year and even in the games Michaelson was out (I believe Pedrie was out for a few as well and they moved Robson back to D) Fashing was one of the best on the ice...

He may be wearing the C, he also may have had 2 penalties that hurt them when they played Bville. I also noticed it said his 9th goal of the year. I would claim that as a role player. He plays on a line that is suppose to shut down the other teams scorers. I am not discrediting him, I am simply stat...

I highly doubt many of us will have a priviledge of seeing him when he is a senior. I am willing to bet he heads out to the development program. Someone that talented, big, strong and has that great of vision does not get overlooked. That being said, he has the choice if and when it comes. In my eye...

Is it that every year Blaine gets knocked off when they are the seeded or expected winner? I kinda felt bad for the Blaine players and would be interested to hear what Aus had to say between periods. His on camera interview was more directed towards official let downs instead of how his team could i...

AV beats to the march of Michaelson's drum. Also, would not expect to see lots of scoring. AV will play much more defensive minded to start the game and generally will try to keep the scoring down. I would put my money on a 3-2, 3-1 type game if Blaine wins. I do not see a 6 goal route by either tea...

2 cents: Did Blaine lose Bjug for about 2-3 weeks? Stats can be misleading as players get injured/susp. Michaelson was injured when playing their tough parts of the schedule incl Bville. I do not believe those stats can dictate this game in any way. I would say Harper is a good to above average goal...

I think northwoods oldtimer has been listening to the Brainerd coach a little too much. Still sour grapes about losing to Roseau. The high school league is not going to adopt a 3 game series. This isn't college or pros, these are public/private high scho...

I am trying to find equal ground on this one but am having a tough time comprehending some of the arguments. Some seem to be more based on stats from 10+ years ago.
