Isn't it just "it is what it is?" If kids move in from other cities or countries, sh*t happens. If people have an issue with the MAML class A versus AA, I can get that. But with this, life isn't always fair and neither is hockey. Section 2AA and 6AA teams always get shorted at state tourna...

agree that top line is great for Delano! Let me ask, has anyone else seen them play have any comments? I have seen some some of the scores and it looks like they're really good. i had a buddy watch i think the chanahssen game and he said the delano line was great but the scoring was little out of wh...

good games and any of the 4 teams could have a nice showing at state. GR played a nice game with really good goaltending. NL would not have made much of difference in this game for EP. That GR line is really good. CM is a nice player but he does seem a little off this year. I think it has more to do...

Awesome job Karl that was great. one thing for sure is that there are probably 6-8 teams that have a legit chance to win state. Couple more if they get some breaks and everything falls right. Grand has the top three forwards collectively in the state.

Most people hate Sorenson because he is an unbelievably cheap player. He should have been DQ'd last night as well. He left the ice on the hit,on top of a head shot. Rumblings are he's even been kicked off other team because of his cheap play. He is exactly the kind of player that should not be playi...

Wayzata vs EP in the AA championship. Are they not the to biggest schools in mn? 3,000 + students. Not fair, they should move up to the USHL! If only there was a northern team capable of beating one of these teams. Much respect to GR. They pass up Single A glory so that they can play against...

For those that complain about the seeding it is really simple. Look at the schedule for the year. EP plays tough teams night in and night out with only 3 real breaks for the whole year--2 games against Hopkins who are in their conference and Cloquet, a team that beat Bemidji. Wayzata folks can mildl...

Is there any requirement for coaches and the MSHSL don't look into situations where there are repeated incidents on the ice. Does anyone know if the MSHSL has in place any kind of requirements that if a player gets 2, 3 or more 5 minutes major in games that the MSHSL steps in to see if it is a probl...

Hats off to LVN. In looking at the sections, it looks to me like a monkey could have do e a better job in placing the teams. Either that or they were playing darts one night.

What a cheap shot. What's truly sad, is I don't even have to look at the Wayzata roster to know who that was. I have not seen Wayzata play this year, and I haven't looked at the roster, but there's one kid on that Wayzata roster who would do this.

Should be a great season. Edina will be tough to beat. I like EP and Graham should have a big year. It'll be interesting to see the loss of Spinner. I hear those talking about Mittelstadt and why he might turn into something he's not there yet. He can't make his own shots/opportunities and has to de...

I think this style is taught at the high school level and emulated at the younger level. Their BA team was one of the cheapest in the state as well. In one game there were two unbelievable cheap shots within 5 minutes with both Brainerd players being ejected. The first could have been called chargin...

Really Wapiti? You don't even know what you are saying. Talking about not "marginalizing" efforts of a team and being "straight forward," and then describing Hermantown's goalie's efforts as being "Herculean." You marginalized the goalie by suggesting that his efforts w...

Hornets fan, if you have to ask, then you just don't get it.

4, Edina's defense was good, but it benefited from the forwards back checking hard and their speed. Not all of them have speed, but enough to make the D's job be much easier.

Clark, he said from two years ago. But I don't think he's right. One player moved to Victoria and played for Chaska youth hockey so that doesn't count . Keep in mind EP was one of the few teams not to lose any players to high school in D6. PL lost 2, Edina lost 4, CC lost 4, etc... It makes a big difference to these teams. I have no argument with EP being ranked 1. They have the one big line that is big and skilled but not particularly fast. I think...

Respectfully disagree TSR. At least for the most part. You are starting with the wrong premise. You first need God given talent. Are you suggesting that all kids have equal athletic ability at mites and then their drive takes off and differentiates them? If you have little god given talent, all the ...

Mnhock, do you mean that D6 doesn't have the top team in the state or if it isn't the toughest district. You can argue EP may not be the top team in the state but there is no question D6 is the toughest district in the state. There's not another district close from top to bottom.

Because at the AA level they are supposed to send the best 24 teams regardless of how many come out of a district, except for the automatic qualifier. Bottom line some districts are MUCH stronger than others, and it's not even close. If that means all the teams from one district make it and only one...

Best, The league games in D6 this year at the AA level really don't mean anything more than other games. D6 has decided to do away with district playoffs at the AA level so there is no more significance to these games as the others. The FPP means virtually nothing to most teams at this level as well...
